Nice stay in Cafayate close to plaza and some bodegas. Paid 950 for two people in a cabaña with three beds and private bathroom, fan in the room, good WiFi, price includes breakfast. There is a nice kitchen for use and nice garden area with tables for hanging out. Parking can accommodate about four cars and or motorbikes. Very pleasant stay.
Report Check-InThe price is now 1100 (for two) so we didn’t stay. We asked why it was so high and he said in January and February it is high season and all the prices go up.
Report Check-Inthe guy has put his prices up to 1100 pesos per person for a tiny Cabana, definitely not value for money and he was totally unapologetic for doubling his prices within 3 weeks, small and dark cabanas on a dusty road, do not recommend, I did not stay, El portal de Los vinos is less than half the price and you get a private room with air conditioning and TV in a fantastic location, highly recommend

There is a huge parking area across the road for big rigs if needed. The price includes breakfast (fruit, yoghurt, pastries, bread, coffee, tea, jam, butter, Dulce de leche) a private bathroom, private parking for many bikes or 2-3 cars (or as many as you like if happy to park outside), fan, use of kitchen, good WiFi, seating areas with shade and without. Bed was comfy. Very friendly staff. Very short walk to main plaza, a well stocked shop just over a block away and plenty of bodegas to choose from.
Excellent hostel! Friendly people, quiet, and above average breakfast.

Report Check-InGreat place, nice guy keeps it nice and clean, playing cool laid back music in the reception. In the evening he lights a fire in the yard. Breakfast, good wifi in reception and patio and lovely kitchen, well equipped. We stayed an extra night, did laundry, read mail and sorted our things. Lovely city around the corner and groceries so we could cook. Tranquil and good, worth the extra pesos, cost 650 for a double room with private bathroom. Tomorrow we are ready to hit the road and camp once more!

Paying 500AP for a room with a bunk bed and a matrimonial bed. Breakfast of bread, coffee/tea, fruit included. Wifi is slow. We are in room 3 and at time of this post, the wifi password for hostal next door's network is suerte2016. You're welcome ;)
