Mumford Bay camping in a recreation area on the side of a reservoir. Not that attractive really but a convenient spot if you need somewhere to stay. 240 rand for 2 adults.

Large but soulless campsite looking over the dam. We were the only campers there but in "high season" they asked for 600 rand for a pitch (up to 3 people) plus extra for electricity. This was too much for what was offered so we left. 20km up the road (north west) is Riverside manor which is less than half the price and much nicer for overlanders.
