Great food with great prices and friendly service.

Recent management changes and no overnight parking allowed

Report Check-In

We were just told (6pm 4/30/23) that overnight stays are not allowed. He suggested Railroad Pass.

Report Check-In

I was there on April 5, 2023. The security came to us half hour after arrival. They mention that they no longer accept RV. I meet the manager and expose a solution. We don’t know yet if they will modify their policy not accepting RV.

Report Check-In

As described except we were not allowed to stay on hotel side, 10 mins parked and 2 hotel security guards came out telling us we couldn't not stay in the parking lot unless we had a room. But we could stay in the overflow parking on the other end where it's posted No Overnight Parking lol. It is owned by the park service and they typically don't mind. We stayed 2 nights w\o any issues, there were several other RV's in and out for 1 night stay and a few for a couple nights as well. Beautiful area, great views, a few walking paths and the Bighorn Cafe was pretty good. We'd stay again :)

I am there now and yes it is O.K. Lots of campers here. No need to check in but you cannot park in the main lot. There is a smaller lot to the left, behind the beige water tanks which, despite the sign saying your can't overnight you actually can. I checked this out with the front desk first. Very close to hwy. though so there is some traffic noise. No need to check in, just park and relax.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for three days in the upper parking lot near the Railroad Trailhead. There were several other RVs in the lot and we had no issues. This is a great location and one can use the Railroad Trail to hike to Hoover Dam. There are several other hikes in the area including Arizona Hot Springs. Below the water tanks in the lower parking lot is Lake Mead Recreational property and very clearly posted as no overnight parking.

Report Check-In

They don’t allow it anymore…
Slept there 2 nights ago, all was fine, 2 other vans were there.
Last night we got the knock from a security guard, saying they don’t allow it anymore. He said we could go south of the lodge, behind the water tanks, basically right next to the south lodge lot, on park property. There are no camping signs but apparently that area gets checked rather seldomly. 2 other vans there. But wouldn’t bank on it.

Report Check-In

Parked by the trailhead then went to the casino bar. Hung out and asked about overnight parking. Bartender said to check with front desk. They just wanted me to move to the lower lot on the other side. No issues or problems. Some US-93 noise, but not bad.

Report Check-In

24 hours allowed.(?)
We checked with security and were told we could park for 24 hours. Maybe that has changed from a later post said.(?)
Sad because it was a great spot f li r a night when traveling through.

Report Check-In

We stayed for a night without checking in and no one bothered us. The bathrooms were clean when I used them. Pretty quiet and peaceful and right by the dam.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend the night before or after exploring surrounding area. I checked in at front desk. Bathrooms were super clean morning and evening

Report Check-In

Arrived around midnight on Sunday May 8, 2022. Lots of other vehicles parked here for the night, definitely felt safe. Parked directly in front of the trailhead. Didn't check in or anything and nobody bothered me. Car was hot by 8am, be prepared! everyone was waking up around that time it seemed. But it was pretty quiet all night. No security or anything to enter the casino, just walk in. Bathrooms available, but already pretty gross by 8am. or still gross? not sure.

Report Check-In

Big spacious parking lot. Super friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Would have slept really well if the truckers could just turn off their engines!!

Report Check-In

Registered at front desk and stayed a few days in order to explore hiking and biking trails. The staff was fantastic. The orange cranberry muffins in the General Store are delicious, as are the flavored caramel candies. Also got sandwiches and drinks.

There were semis, vans, fifth wheels, campers and motorhomes enjoying this space. The parking lot was about a third full the whole time. One night a motorhome zoomed in, parked right up on us at an angle, making me concerned that they’d hit us with their tow car on the way out, but they left without incident.

Let’s take care to honor this valuable resource with our responsible behavior (cleaning up after ourselves, being courteous) so that it will remain available in the years to come.

bingo!!
we loved staying at the hoover dam lodge casino. we registered for 3 nights and if you luck out and get Lindsay at the front desk (tall with long brown hair) she'll give you free coffee tickets.
24 hour facilities. bathroom, wifi, etc. the bighorn cafe burger we had was delicious.
this is also very close to a lot of great activities. see the big map on the wall near the front desk. we biked to the hoover dam via the railway trail. you could bike to goldstrike hot springs from here as well.

Report Check-In

Big lot, definitely a spot for other camper vans, RVs, trucks…Asked the front desk if they allow overnight parking and they do. Depending on the person, they might ask you to register but doesn’t seem like they care at all. You can use their bathrooms too. Very well lit and safe lot. There’s coyotes around the area that come looking through the trash, but seems harmless. great view of the lake.

Report Check-In

just as described, stayed just one night. there were about 6 other campers and a couple semis. you don't need to get a players card, but should check in with the desk with your vehicle info. save some time the next morning and there is a trail right there to hike to the Hoover dam. keep your eyes peeled for coyotes and bighorn sheep.

Report Check-In

Quiet big parking lot, other campers, vans cars staying there. my neighbor used to work there and said not necessary to check in at Front desk. restrooms and Restaurants inside for use. nice view to wake up to.

Report Check-In

Stayed here last night in our self-converted Sprinter. You are required to check in, had a great stay.

Report Check-In

They still allow overnight camping in a car - just checked in at the front desk no problem. There were a couple other overnighters parked over by the trailhead at the edge of the parking lot a little ways from the casino entrance. Clean bathrooms and cheap tacos inside. I highly recommend this spot

Report Check-In

Great parking spot for the night for any size. Lady at registration said one night only which was all we needed. Previous posters said 2 nights. It is a popular spot so please continue to be good to it. The burgers at the diner were awesome!

Report Check-In

Doesn’t allow overnight camping anymore

Report Check-In

Easy spot to overnight near the Hoover Fam and Las Vegas. Many other campers here. Quiet all night, but the helicopter tours start easy.

Report Check-In

Big parking lot with a nice view of Lake Mead. Trail head with one trail that goes to the Hoover Dam Visitor Center, although you can drive there. Check in at the front desk. You can stay up to 2 nights. Free. Road noise in the distance, but is relatively quiet. 4 restaurants next to the casino floor that are all open. Restrooms also next to the casino.

Report Check-In

As mentioned, large lot, great views if the lake. There a couple of benches to watch the sunset's colours. Nice front desk staff. Asked for our driver's license number, phone number and plate number. Said one night is fine. Need permission for more than that. Restrooms were available. Free Wifi from hotel but inconsistent, maybe if you park closer... LTE signal.

Report Check-In

Nice big parking lot. Pretty quiet, 4 or 5 other rigs.

Report Check-In

Just like the description mentioned, big lot with plenty of space to park. We did not register with the front desk. However, we were still able to use the restrooms.

Report Check-In

Large open lot. Well lit. Great view against the fence and the Hoover dam trail head. Staff was welcoming and seems safe and fairly quiet.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place to park an RV for free. Notify the front desk with your car info. Bathrooms available and very friendly staff. Restaurants and small store inside. Can we windy but not too loud. The road traffic is surprisingly quiet.

Report Check-In

Great spot , limited T Mobile fair TV reception

Report Check-In

Comme mentionné dans l’intro, on s’enregistre à l’entrée de l’hôtel et on peu rester 24h. Belle vue sur le lac Mead. Wifi et toilette à l’intérieur.

Report Check-In

I want to see the Hoover Damn and got in too late this evening. This is a perfect location for an overnight stay in my Sprinter.

A few other RVs, Boats and Big Rigs.

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 nights here in the parking lot next to the Casino & overlooking Lake Mead. Checked with staff inside. They took down our vehicle make/model etc so Security didn’t knock on our door. A couple of big rigs, trucks & smaller vans also stayed overnight.
Can get very windy, but no issues.

Report Check-In

Big parking lot where you can camp and sleep tonight.
If you register in Cassino you can use restrooms.
Many big rigs here. We are in a SUV rooftent and OK.
