Something not right?

Description

This is just one of DOZENS of good places (suitable for Class B's or smaller) to park overnight *BEFORE* getting to Mendocino County where "No Overnight Parking" "No Camping" seems to be the norm.

Spots are usually set back off the road a bit and are level. The Hwy gets quiet enough for me to sleep at night.

spotty Verizon LTE. I didn't stay overnight just parked for a while.. but if you need a spot in the area this one is nice.

Nice and quiet place! I slept just fine in the back of my car with no disturbances. After sunset, only a handful of cars passed by until I fell asleep. Awesome view at sunset, and an awesome view in morning again before I hit the road.

nice spot for several smaller vehicles. there are lots of pull out in north of Jenner. The one I stayed at the night before had so many vehicles. this one might have been better as it's a little bit smaller and relatively level. not really big enough for big rigs but possibly a truck and small trailer if there aren't other things park there already.

Report Check-In

Great spot, low key, level enough and roomy. No sign of construction equipment mentioned in recent review. View is outstanding.

Report Check-In

Great spot and level but construction site appears to be active. Wouldn’t want to be here when the crew arrives in the morning.

Report Check-In

This spot and several other pullouts in this area are currently being occupied by construction equipment. Unable to stay at this one, but we went about a 1/2 mile north and found one. Very limited cell service on ATT.

Report Check-In

Huge turnout. Fit a big RV the other night. There are plenty of turnouts around here - try to find one before dark!

Report Check-In

We came from Bodega Bay in the south and this was the nicest pullout along the coast. Large and hardly any traffic at night. It was very flat, compared to many of the other pullouts. Great view.

Report Check-In

5 stars just for the view. Tons of room. No amenities since it's just a pull-off. Quiet at night. Stayed for one night.

Mendocino County does not want folks sleeping overnight in their vehicles. North of Ft Bragg however, just 15 miles north, is MUCH easier, with lots of places to overnight. Yay!
