Huge campground, very well maintained, very nice and quiet, friendly staff. I like it. Tons of amenities and dog friendly!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The reason you get a thousand trails membership is to pull into parks and take a break with full power, water, and do laundry.
You need to be a non member (I.e. pay full price) to get a 50amp spot.
For you full size (class a) people like me it’s a bummer to not get what you expect.
50 amp properly charges Rv batteries, car fully, and fully runs air conditioners.
Make sure you know what they will be providing before you book.
With more of us using full size class a Rv for hybrid-boondocking, it’s good to start reviewing these “brake spots” and passing on what the parks are actually offering vs what there web sites say.
Report Check-InVery nice campground and nice people. Very quiet the whole time I was there despite low vacancy.
Report Check-InHuge RV park in the Thousand Trails membership club. If you have a big rig you should call the office to book one of the huge spots with a view for only $5 a night (if you’re a member). They have a couple off leash dog parks, a mini golf area, two clubhouses, miles of hiking trails, full hookups for RVs and tent sites. No car camping allowed. My only regret is they close the hot tub/pool at 9pm which is the earliest I have experienced in the TT parks.
Report Check-InNo customs vans allowed at any thousand trails parks. Wouldn’t let us stay the night.
Report Check-InWent here to give the kids a break and do laundry. Laundry, park, pool and golf were all closed. WiFi is paid and even then didn’t work. Not worth the $55.
