Description

Amazing spot! They offer hotel accomodation (maybe 10 rooms total), a few cabins, and camping. The grounds are beautifully manicured facing the ocean with beach access. They also have a nice pool, covered space for cooking, Wi-Fi (inside the hotel building). I checked 4 or 5 other hostel places in town and this one was clearly the best. It's a bit of a walk into town, 15mins or so, but there's a little kiosko across the street with basics, i.e. beer and chips. Staff, including 2 talking parrots, were super friendly & let me store my bike in the laundry room and let me use their kitchen. Not sure on camping price but rooms range from 40k-60k COP some with AC. They told me it's usually busy on the weekends- I was the only one here for the two nights I stayed midweek. Go to the mud volcano while you're in town!

Like the reviews say, the place is great. I was going to stay 2 nights but added a 3rd.

Beautiful and clean space. Space for 2 or 3 small motorhomes. The place that stayed of motorhomes without shades, wind or trees. Stayed in a temperature almost 40⁰ and there wasn't water to fill the motorhome. A nice place only to tents that stay close at the sea. BE CAREFUL: they ask a price and then, ask other. The price now is 30.000pppn in motorhome.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! We were 3 couples in 3 cars, our friends arrived first and they said the price was 35.000 PER CAR. We all drove more than 100 km to arrive there, once we arrived they said they made a mistake and wanna charge 30.000 PER PERSON!!!! We felt very offended because they wanna take advantage of the situation. So we left and went to sleep in the gas station out of the town.

Excellent place! Beautiful grounds, beautiful house, right on ocean. Francis the owner is a real character, loved chatting about her fascinating life...fine for BIG rigs but only room for 1 or 2. We rented a room with AC and 4 beds with private bath for 60cop. Dog friendly! Tuktuk to town is cheap.

We checked this hotel out after reading the review on here. Mrs. Francis is the nicest woman in Colombia and she speaks English! The hotel grounds are amazing with a pool and its right on the ocean. She let us park and use electricity for our 24ft RV for 50,000 COP. There are 5 of us plus our dog. She has a cook that will make you anything you want for a very reasonable price. The hotel has a bathhouse, grill and outdoor kitchen you can use. We haven't been able to find propane yet so she let us use a kitchen with a refrigerator and stove. She has 2 dogs, 3 parrots, 3 macaws and several chickens. We have spent a month here because we are waiting on a part for the RV but also because the people here are simply amazing.
