Great wild camping spot on Forest Service dispersed land. Didn't go too far in on the dirt road. We found the first pull out and camped there. It was about a quarter mile off the highway and fairly quiet. the occasional side by side going by. We came in, in our 30ft Class C and was fine. It might be a chore if it had just rained. Verizon service was 2-3 bars.

Very nice place to camp. Deer and turkeys in the area. Generally a good place for a Starlink and (for me) AT&T 5G worked, but slowly. We drove in with a Sprinter 3500 dually and had no problem. The “dip” where the dry river crosses the road is OK. Just take your time. Our RV is 27 feet with the bike rack. No issues. I’d say almost anything below 30 feet (9-10m) would be is can get in here. Good place to stay for a night or a few days.
There are spots near the lot and way up past the main parking lot as well along the road. I might advise being more careful going a lot farther, especially if you have a large rig.
Report Check-InSeveral places along the road. Few people here. Right at the SXS/ATV trailhead. Great spot to camp. Traveled in two groups on the same site and had plenty of room.
Report Check-InPretty area with plenty of distance between camp spots. We stayed in an open area but there are hidden spots in the trees down the dirt roads.
We have 2wd. Roads were fine for us and we drove around for a bit before picking a spot. Looks like it could get real muddy with lots of rain but packed down and dry now.
Quiet night with very few campers. (We couldn’t see any of them from our spot.)
ATVs and Jeeps came in next day on Friday. Quite a few of them. Aside from that, very quiet, great sleep.
Some little biting insects (look like tiny gnats) but surprisingly no mosquitoes.
Dry creek bed.
I wish I could have stayed there. We have a 40 foot greyhound bus conversion. The crossing of the dry river bed was too steep to try, I'm still questioning myself if I could make it. It's beautiful though.
Report Check-Inwide, open, grassy areas close to the road. easy for tent or RV camping. No water source, so pack in. peaceful at night when traffic dies down.
Report Check-InGood spots down this road. There's a creek that crossed it about 100 yards past the 4x4 staging area that a car with high clearance can make. We stayed at the first pull out just to the right of the staging area. It's far enough from the road so you don't get too much noise and there's a path down to the creek from it.
Report Check-InNice grassy flat spots to pitch a tent and bring in an rv. Highway noise but dies off at night. Just after the 4x4 staging area. Good road, easy access.
Report Check-InGreat spot! I went in a bit farther and found the most perfect camp site ever!
