Description

Only some miles from the park entrance in the Sequoia National Forest.
many lots to free camping just 100 meters from the Road.
Nice and quiet place to sleep. Very peaceful and quiet, beautiful views if you drive a little further on the road. 4x4 required, you can hike down to river. Amazing scenery worth camping here.

The entrance road to this spot is now closed. Not possible to enter. We stayed at the pullout next to the main road, space for 1 or 2 vehicles.. No service.

great spot! our 24ft rv got in no problem. there's a small turn off the road and about 200 feet ahead is the camping spots.

drive past the open area into the trees, and we stayed at the first spot. past that you will probably need something 4x4.

fire pit was there and it was quiet and nice! great FREE spot!

5 stars! not sure why ioverlander doesn't let me go up higher. 😃

perfect spot near entrance to sequoia and kings canyon. many spots, just off the main road. no verizon service

Report Check-In

Good spot to spend the night. We were able to get a 26ft class A into the opening - just watch out for a boulder on the left side! Flat spots next to fire pits.

Report Check-In

After looking some spot further north we preferred to spend the night here. The road is not very long but do not go too far if you are not 4x4. Not much sun because we are in the woods with lots of trees. Very dusty. We berly dont ear the road.
