Primitive Campground with 75 sites in dense forest in Strathcona Provincial Park at Buttle Lake. Private sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Pit toilets. Quiet. Smoky from campfires. Drinking water available from natural source (hand pump at entrance).

Stayed here the day after the May long weekend and it was almost empty! The sites are spaced far enough apart that you have some privacy and nestled into the trees. Many have river access or beach access (we snagged a river access one). Clean pit toilets and access to water. Water says it should be filtered so user beware!
