Rad spot, a Mazda 3 in our group made it fine in May!

Report Check-In

As previously stated, the pin on the map doesn't actually represent the location of the site. But the road offers several spots for rigs to pull off & set up. The road is dirt and at times a but bumpy, but we took it slow & only did a bit of scraping with our motorcycle hitch in the back. It was dry, so we didn't have to worry about the road eroding. The spot was beautiful with great views and felt very safe. There was one other rig a bit down the road from us, and they seemed to be a more permanent resident. Other than that, we only had one truck pass by us in the three days we spent here. It was clear that there had been some deforestation in the area with big machines, but we didn't see any while we were occupying the area.

Yuck. Lots of trash at sites before power station. After the road closes in and requires 4wd. I did a 5 point turn before road became jeep track. It was narrow and beautiful along a stream, but would definitely walk it before undertaking it, limited turn around points between rock wall and stream. Decided to to stay. 2 bar LTE ATT

Report Check-In

The spot marked on the map isn't an actual campsite that we could find, but there are several nice spots along the road. One is extremely large and could accommodate a large party with 5+ vehicles. The road was rough after a recent rain, but was mostly dry and easily doable in our RWD with clearance. 4WD only when wet. We tried 2 campsites and eventually found a nice spot between trees for shade. We arrived in the first Saturday evening of the season and had no trouble finding a nice spot. 3-4 bars Verizon 4G. Easy distance to town for supplies, and the main road is somewhat audible from our spot. Great views.

This is open range cattle land, so expect noise and possible visitors. We also saw a small family of wild boar, which passed within a few meters of us and were NOT afraid, so keep close eyes on children and pets.

Report Check-In

Lots of spots to pull off at, several have rock burn rings. Road could get nasty with rain. We are in a vintage VW bus and we made it just fine. Camping for 1 night. Nice and quiet

Report Check-In

Areas to pull off. Forest Road in is decent but appears it can get muddy if rain. Good Verizon

Report Check-In

I continued about half a mile past this location and found a decent site to call home for the night. there was a couple of ATVs that went by but other then that pretty quiet.

Report Check-In

didn't find the spot in question but the road has a few decent spots on the way in. very rough forest road made of mud. would be a big problem if it rains. I stopped to scout ahead once. there is town brush burning pit that's making it really smoky in places. I made it in with my 2wd sprinter but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone larger. I got high-centered once on a berm but made it through. nobody else out here though, extremely quiet. 3 bars of Verizon. decent AT&T.

Report Check-In

Didn't see a road accessible site at the said location but found several pullout sites further down at 0.3 mile. Secluded, levelled, nice, nobody around except a couple of hunters camped about a mile away.
