Any 2wd vehicle can make it to 5 Palms Oasis via this access Rd from Whitlock Rd. Be careful and check first when pulling off this road for camping before the oasis.

Report Check-InClosed, sand is too soft, pool closed because it's filled with trashed and sketchy people around. Not safe, do not go here.
Report Check-InAlternate access road to 5 Palms hot springs. You are much less likely to get stuck taking this route. Many others are parked at the start of the road and walk in to be safe. We made it in our Chevy Duramax Ambulance with no problems.
