Description

Lake with beautiful trees lining the shores, very picturesque. We paid 15pp to enter the park. You can only have your truck in the park between 5:30pm and 9am. There is a large parking lot by the gate where you can park and enjoy the lake while you wait should you get here early or park while you enjoy the lake before you leave the next day should you get here late. They come by in the morning around 8:30 to collect 20pp for camping. You can find more privacy if you drive to the far ends of the roads on either side of the lake. Beautiful light at sunrise.

They do have camping here. No hookups or bathrooms. Nice place. Don't know cost. We didn't camp, just visited.

This place is a little bit crazy. We were here at carnival monday and it was crowded. We were allowed to get in at 7 pm. But we have to leave at 8 am the next morning. They want 60 Pesos pp for camping and 20 Pesos pp Park entrance. This is 160 Pesos for us for nothing.

We arrived around 6pm and we're let in the gate as visitors were exiting the park. We drove to the back of the park for a more private spot. Quiet at night. Security stopped by once around 9pm to collect our vehicle and camper information. Nice and safe. Paid $30/person.

Nice place to stay. Mystic scenery in the morning when the sun comes out and the fog rises up. We showed up at 5:30 pm and left at 9:15 am. The guy at the gate want my ID as a deposit what seems strange to me at the beginning but I got it back the next day when we paid without any problems. I saw that some Lokals also have their ID. 60 pesos for two people to camp.

An interesting and tiny national park likely established to preserve the unique trees around the small lake (maybe spring fed?). The water is crystal clear and people were swimming. It's a popular area for locals, with many picnic tables and tons of food stalls around the lake and paddle boats for rent. As others have said, you can't enter with a vehicle until after 6pm then can camp next to the lake. There was only one other group camping the night we were there who unfortunately blasted their music super loud well past 10pm. Lucky for us, we liked the music. There are bathrooms but they looked dirty so we didn't use them. The morning sun light through the trees and on the lake was gorgeous. You have to pack up and move the vehicle outside the park (to the nearby parking lot) by 9am. The fees are 15 pesos/person for park entry and 30 pesos/person to camp.

M$15pp to enter the park but can't take your vehicle in until 6pm so we had to pay M$20 to park in the car park outside the park until then. Camping said M$30 but the police officer at the gate charged us M$60 saying it was 30 per person. Not sure how legit it was and we didn't get a receipt or ticket. Nice spot, super busy during the day with market stalls everywhere. Quiet night's sleep though. Running water only in the toilets at the entrance (soap but no TP). Other toilets had no anything and were dirty. No showers.
