Description

Really nice park with lots of spigots, drinking fountains, picnic areas (both under cover and not), racquetball courts, clean washrooms and best of all, an enclosed outdoor shower. it would probably be too cold to use in winter but in June, it's heaven!!

Amazing to take a private outdoor shower. I was charging my phone at the pavilion right by it but these apparently are rented out so I got politely booted by the party group. Great area though with beach access across the street.

I was so enamoured with the beach sunset and the shower that I stayed the night! A sheriff did stop after dark and ask if all was OK (I happened to be outside the vehicle) and then left. People show up late and early to use the dog park, but other than that it was quiet!

Great spot to stop for a brisk shower while grabbing a charge from the sun/take the dog for a run

Really nice park to chill out for a few. Multiple showers and bathrooms seem to all be single-use. Views of the beach. Definitely worth a stop!

Cold, but so much better than wet wipes and wild showers. Door latches so no risk of public exposure. Beach is right across the road and is quite lovely.

Pretty awesome place! Got woken up at 6:30 by police wanting us to leave even though there are no signs prohibiting overnight camping. This is also our second time staying here, so you might get lucky and not have to deal with police.

It was quiet and pleasant

Indeed an awesome park! Clean bathrooms, beach access across the street and an outdoor shower! Quiet during the night. Pretty popular during the day.

Rustic Sands Resort
Not much here. We seem to be camping in a sand lot. Not many trees! Quite dusty. But they are working on it. There is a pool, and a clubhouse with a tiki bar. Clubhouse and bar were not open when we were here. Definitely not an awesome place yet.

Excellent stopping point along 98. We used the shower and it was tolerable, but we are also from Michigan. Very clean and nice and they are making changes as we speak to make it even better. Beautiful armed forces memorial on site!
