Description

Nice little campground on a farm with lots of animals. The owners are great hosts and Marcelo is an incredible storyteller. If you have time, we highly recommend an excursion of a 3 hrs walk with Marcelo to learn about the long history of the region, flora and fauna. you will see some rock engravings and paintings (Arg.$ 250/P). The place has also 3 cabanas and a little restaurant with good homemade food. Good facilities. We just loved this place and had a hard time leaving...

We had an awesome stay here at Tunquelen. We felt very welcome. Marciello is very kind and showed us around and explained us a lot about the history of the area. Even showed us old paintings from the indigenous people living there many years ago. He made us a delicous dinner and we even got to dance a little. It was a very nice stay in between two days of 5h of driving to Bariloche.
