I'm not sure what's so great about this place. it's like 200m from the highway so the road noise is pretty loud and is clearly visible from anywhere on the road. there is a small building you can park behind to kind of hide, but it's clearly used as the bathroom and smelled awful. we stayed a night in the middle of lot and no one bothered us though. can't say I recommend this place, but it was getting late and needed somewhere to stop. a woman showed up at 8am and wanted 2 soles to climb the tower and 1 to park. we went across the street 200m to the south to see more images and this parking lot is much better. down in a valley barely visible from the road and no one asking for money.

We came here early so no one to pay. We were glad we hadn’t paid. Not much to see. Then we came to a much better viewing place south. There were three restored figures to easily see from the tower. It was 3 S per person to go up and worth it. This one is right on the Pan-Am. and much better. -14.69387 -75.11390

2Soles per person. Cold drinks are available. It is possible to see the lines from the ground without paying for the tower.

The attendent didn't want us to camp here as there is nobody there overnight and he said it wasn't necessarily safe. there is a service station 8km south that has a very big spot for parking overnight. Otherwise the mirador and explanations are pretty interesting to see.
