A beautiful spot by the lake. The staff, John and Gary are very friendly and happy to help. Prices are as below, and very cheap for Zambia. The toilets and showers are very rough around the edges but the toilets do for a nights stay. Worth a nights stay over given how peaceful and pretty it is.
Report Check-InGreat peaceful place with wonderful view. Everything as described before. Even the price
Report Check-InThere is nothing to add. Perfect place. Price the same. Managed now by John. He is very friendly and helpful. The Telefon No at the gate are not more working. Walk down and search John.
Report Check-InBeautiful camping spot at the shore of the vast dam. Very friendly manager Miriam welcomed us and took good care of us. A guard took care of the hot water. Electricity at the veranda with the small rooms, no other facilities, but we were all alone. Price is composed of "gate entry", which is 50 kw pp on weekdays, 100 kw pp on weekends and 150 kw on "long weekends", plus a camping fee of 40 kw per night (for the two of us plus car). Lots of birds around. The route Chisamba-Mulungushi-Mita Hills-Kabwe is highly recommended.
Report Check-InDefinitely a nice and quiet campsite on a lawn right at the water. Club members are very welcoming and interested. Staff members are very friendly.
A waterfall and the dam make for a nice walk.
If you want to do a trip through the back country this is a good starting point.
