December 27th, 2019 El Mirador Hotel, Restaurant & RV Park

It’s still here, as advertised.
It’s rained hard recently and the road is a little rough. Two days after Christmas and not very many people on the beach two day. Only a couple other guests the campgrounds. Just finished lunch at the restaurant, the shrimp cocktail was very good. Its a little cool today not exactly beach weather, but great sleeping weather.

Off season parking lot camping next to the beach. Low season parking lot camping, free, public toilets, very close to the beach.
I’m guessing this is not possible during high season, too busy, to much traffic. But September/October/November is slow in this area, and the weather is beautiful.
Lots of restaurants, some closed for the season, grocery store near by.

Don’t believe the air B&B site! This place has NO view, is VERY small, not very clean. Breakfast is “gas station” food. At $25.00 each plus/plus, for one room, I’d suggest if you are 2 or more, get a both rooms for same price. Use one for storage and one for sleeping. Good luck, keep looking.
