Big sites, along Colorado River. Inside a canyon so don’t see big sky but there are small trees for shade. Some road noice.

Actually Grandstaff. Along Colorado River with trees for shade. Can hear and see road doesn’t seem too bad. Inside of a canyon so don’t see big open sky.

Along Rogue River, not far off road. Motor homes ok. Big gravel lot with dispersed camping all over, many have shade. Portapotty, but no water, electricity.

August 22nd, 2019 Rouge River Campspot in NF

This was a beautiful spot, maybe one of the best we’ve been to. Cross Woodruff Bridge and take the first right into dirt road. About 6-8 sites right on the river. Sites are spread out and very private. Some are group sites.

August 22nd, 2019 Huckleberry Picking on Huckleberry Mountain

Late August the berries are ready to pick. Plants are very accessible from the road. 2 Wheel Cars will have no problem. Quite steep and gravel so big rigs shouldn’t try without scouting first. This spot will provide camping for 2 rigs if you want to stay.

Great spot on the river. Tried fishing with no luck but fish are definitely in the water.

Tried to dig for fossils. No luck but looks like could camp but no big trailers

Right on the river, nice but busy. Rafters put in here.

This spot is amazing. Free camping, facilities but pit toliet. Our spot is on the lake but their are only a few of these. Picked Hickleberries, biked on Forest Service Roads and had a great time!

April 21st, 2019 Cottonwood Canyon Rd North End

Only do this trail when dry. Could be hazardous to pull something over with wet roads. Highly recommend. Leave plenty of time for hiking

This was an awesome spot. So spread out if you wanted or with a ground on water edge. Beautiful views of lone rock and Colorado River winding through the canyon.

Hand Pump. Located between car wash and Shelll Station. Drive up and use. Open anytime.

Awesome slot canyon! Came up from Lake Powell easy hike with our dogs. Beautiful place

Nice campground for $32.00 per night. Large campsites with water, power and hot showers. Nice view of the city lights at night. Stop at library/nature center on the way in. Yes, we saw both Rattlesnake and scorpion in the first 24 hours.

April 1st, 2019 Crazy Horse campground

Private campground with all amenities including a PIckleball court. In downtown Lake Havasu, AZ. Lots of spaces as of 4-1 with snow birders leaving. Camping right on edge of lake with great views.

March 1st, 2019 Pinal County Fairgrounds

Open gravel sites with water, power, dump station and hot showers. Only complaint is road noise, $20.00 bucks per night.

February 9th, 2019 Campo Don Alvaro @ La Chorera Community

Nice spot overlooking beach. Very quite and out of wind. Pay what you feel fair. Pit toilets.

Whale watching lagoon. Pangas leave from dock here.$50.00 per person.

Old ward and light house at the end of the causeway to a pier where there is potential to see whales. Sand dunes across water on other side

On the beach, protected, palm trees and Palapas. Small restaurant on site

February 1st, 2019 Mangrove channel

Site is at a small, informal boat ramp into a mangrove channel. Other camping sites are nearby. 4x4 access only but well worth the effort if you enjoy fishing, paddling and wildlife. We caught and released numerous fish from our sup and viewed hundreds of birds in the narrow mangrove channels.

22 beers on tap. Some fantastic brews including a special brew called “Celebration “ and “Mid night oil”, Baltic Porter and Black Ale. A beers drinkers spot of heaven!!!

Flat beach, a lot of surfers. No shade or toilets but a lot of space to spread out. Soft white sand and cell service.

Loved this place. Pizza was fantastic!!! Atmosphere unsurpassed, rustic colonial in the shadow of the smokestack.

January 13th, 2019 Playa Tecolote DESERT VERSION

Spent 4 nights here on a beautiful sandy beach. Beach side bars a walk away. No services except garbage but LaPaz about 30 minutes away.

January 11th, 2019 Playa Punta Los Muertos

Very secluded, Need 4 x 4 once down on the beach some spots very soft sand. Water is beautiful but beach has t had garbage pick up for a long time.

January 9th, 2019 Playa Tecolote DESERT VERSION

Nice sandy beach, soft sand, gentle waves. Snorkeling, and boarding options. No services here but outside bars are within walking distance. Intend to mountain bike back to Balandra Beach.

Great location!!! Nice spots. English speaking staff. Clean restrooms and warm showers. Gated and safe. Many sites have trees with shade.

Burgers and Costillas BBQ( BBQ rubs). Outside seating and and upbeat atmosphere. This isn’t fancy but they are really good at what they do. Burgers and Fries $6-10. BBQ $12.00. Well worth the price for the quality.
