Two rental RVs showed up and turned on their load generators.
Less than an hour later, a ranger asked us politely to leave...

Old entrance to a dirt road. Room for a thin vehicle. A little bite steepy but very quiet at night.
We stayed there 4 nights and noone bothered us.

Gate to the park opens at 7:30am and closes at 8pm. No overnight inside the park on this side.
Plenty of trails to walk.
We saw the condors every days above the High Peaks trail between 3 and 6pm.

First night was fine.
Second night, a ranger came at 10pm. A "friendly neighbor" had called him saying we'de been here for days!
He told us it was ok for this second night but that we would get a ticket if we stayed a third night.

$1 for 5gallons.
On the parking of the Walmart.

The security guard of the Walmart kindly asked us to move this parking because it's not allowed to overnight past 10pm on the Walmart parking lot.

Here it's OK though a "neighbour" told us that we could be towed away anytime.

Farely quiet at night

This is a good place for Condor watching. Keep an eye in the sky in the middle of the day.

The first day, we saw 4 condors between 11am and 2pm. The second day 2 condors.One came circling close above the van before leaving. Every time coming from the south and heading towards north.

It's also a good boondocking place. Kind of quarry on the side of the road. Free. Some traffic during the day. Very quiet at night. Elevation is 1630 m high so it was cold at night late february (5°C inside the van in the morning).

We needed electricity and the owner offered us nicely to plug in into the restaurant next to the bar.

Nice place. Very quiet at night. The dirt road is in good shape, little washboard.
We saw three gray whales with their babies passing really fast in the canal. Pretty close.

Still 45$US/810pesos/pers. You have a blue ticket. If you go a second time it's 20$US/pers and you have a green ticket. Make sure you tell the lady you're going a second time or she will charge you 45$.

According to everyone, best in town for radiators.
Fixed the leek of our radiator. We have an Iveco and we don't find spare radiator in Mexico.

Nice place. Bad washboard road to get here. But nice view of the whales if you have googles or a spotting scope.

Quarry next to the road. Quiet. free. Very little trafic from the road.

Don't make the mistake of asking if you can park at the restaurant (building on the left) because they charge 100pesos per vehicle per night for (almost) dry camping. You can have access to the WC when it's open. Their wifi is fast though (850ko/s at max download) and we sate on the tables outside and used the plugs next to them to surf the internet. Lots of wind and sand in the air. ;)

Other overlanders asked the permission to park to the hotel the same night and it was free.

This area is very touristic. If you don't need a camping, here is a nice place to park by the bay.
One or two fishmen come during the day. Very quiet.

Please when coming from the north, don't take the first road access that appears on Maps.me because there's an osprey nesting close to it (january 2018). Prefer the next one which coordinate of the entry are 26.800225,-113.18929

Still 55USD per person boat tour. Double if one person wants to go alone.
Camping is 5USD. You can pay in pesos also. Rate was 18pesos for a dollar.
My first boat tour to watch whales. We were just 5 in the boat. Saw two mummies and their babies which came close couple times. Great time.
The tour last 2h. 15min out and 15min in. 1h30 with the whales.
Tip to the captain appriciated.
Dry toilets. Hot shower. Slow wifi.
If you don't want to pay for the camping, see the free spot that we've found a little bite further.

The military asked us to move towards the palapas because the place near the lightlouse has no light. But... there's no light either near the palapas. ;)
Funny because the next morning we found that another Overlander had parked at the first place. Haha !
Music and car cruising until 10pm then very quiet. Strong wind.

Really great spot.
First time, we stayed behind the dune because there was too much sand on the road.
Three weeks later, the road was clean and we were able to park on the dune. A bit windy but great view. Very quiet at night.

Fishermen's parking on Playa Punta Lobos. Crowded during the day. Fishermen's activity. They arrive at 6am and return around 4pm to sell their fish directly on the beach. Music from the hotel nearby til 11pm then quiet.
Nice whale watching.

We managed to park our 7m long van.
Note that the entrance fee is 400pesos/pers (!!!). We didn't know about it because the sign that advises you is inside the park, once you've begun to hike. Apparently people pay the fee in Todos Santos and then get their bracelets there. No guardaparque when we were around. We went hiking and then left.

Nice place close to the access to the beach where you can see the Belding's Yellowthroat.

Easy parking for big rings in front of it, rather than the other one given in town.

Those coordinates got us on the wrong way with Maps.me.
So here are the coordinates to the entrance of the ferry terminal (23.18835,-106.42084) and the ones for the TMC and Baja Ferries offices (23.1867,-106.4215).
TMC was opened at 8:30am. Very nice staff.
The lady entered our 7m long van as a commecial vehicule (doble rodador) instead of a motorhome much more expensive.
The van + driver cost 6280pesos. Passager (ayudante de operador) cost 1197pesos. Total cost was 7477pesos.
There is an average wifi at the office. Ask for the key.
The driver enters the terminal with the vehicule with the big paper sheet (see picture). Vehicules begin to board at 1pm and goes through military control. The passager enters the terminal through the passenger gate with the long ticket bill (see picture) and his/her passport. Passagers begin to board at 3pm.
On board the ferry, there are hot showers and WC. Dinner was OK. They also serve breakfast but we had it in the van. You can access your vehicule whenever you want and sleep inside it. We were on the top deck.
At La Paz terminal, there is an extra 176pesos to pay for weighing the vehicule. Police and military controls OK. Fruit control took our lemons and pears and our trash because there were pieces of apples in it.
The boat left at 6pm and arrived at 11am.
