Peaceful and quiet night surrounded by trees. Tons of wildlife, saw spider and howler monkeys(only heard them around 5pm for 20 or so minutes)
Had the place to ourselves and decided to stay another day just to relax. Paid 40Q per person. Prices are posted on the bathroom building in the camping area.

Spent two nights, one before going into the ruins and one after spending the whole day in the ruins. Really worth the stop to see the ruins.
The camping itself is very limited for vans or bigger rigs. More set up for tents. They will let you run an extension cord to the restaurant if you need it. Nice facilities but it’s a steady stream of people being bussed to and from the restaurant as it’s a base for a tour company. The other campsite is much quieter.

Straight forward and easy crossing from Belize to Guatemala, only things different for us were it now costs $40 bzd per person for exit fee and we were able to pay our fumigation by visa.
They didn’t even look inside for what foods we were bringing across.

Vehicle import $160Q + 20Q service fee to the guy to pay our import next door. (Taxi was $30Q return to the bank)

Really quiet spot next to the river. First place in Belize that the bugs didn’t drive us crazy!
Hot shower if you use the bathroom to the right. We found the wifi in the restaurant worked good, no issues with it.
Super friendly dogs that love attention! We didn’t eat in the restaurant but the prices looked pretty decent.

Decent spot to overnight. 5 bzd per person. Water tap on site and pit toilets. Cool caves and a nice hiking loop before cooling off in the blue hole. Park entry is still 8 bzd per person

Really nice spot! Beautiful beach and it’s nice and quiet. Friendly owners and the staff were exceptional!
We stayed 2 nights and had a really nice dinner the first night then a breakfast the next morning. Portions were big and everything was really good.
The dogs are very protective of the office area and when walking by we got charged by two of them and also saw the same thing happen to others. Anywhere else on the property the dogs are very friendly.
Overall a good stay

Cool national park with lots of waterfalls to hike too. Stayed one night next to the palapa. Lots of bugs but a quite night!

Nice spot with shade from trees, good breeze all day. Didn’t not find electrical hookups and the wifi was only good at the main reception building. Lots of birds and a few nice walking trails. Shower was cold water only but had good pressure.

Spent one night here with out any problems. No facilities and it’s in a very open area.
Fairly quite night overall

We asked the lot guys if it’s okay to overnight and he said no. We asked customer service and they seemed hesitant but said yes, but that it’s not always safe. Didn’t stay.

This place is very closed. Keep going down the road to Yax Ha.

wanted 100peso per person and not allowed to use an actual camera to take a photo. Was 6 full size busses plus mini bus and sprinters full of people. We decided to continue down the road and got some really good photos of the flamingos all by ourselves.

Very large beautiful Cenote, mostly closed ceiling, paid 50peso per person and was able to stay the night. Dogs barking all night long.

Really nice place to stay. Communal kitchen/ eating area. Clean bathrooms and showers. They have an rv area with water and electricity hook up with no height restrictions if you drive through the back entrance. Front entrance will only fit about 3m tall and it’s tight in between the trees with no hookups. Our 2.6m van just squeezed through the trees.
100peso per person no hook ups or with hookups an extra 40 peso.
They also have a bee tour for free for guests that is really informative, the bees don’t have stingers and are not aggressive. Tour takes about an hour.

Safe place to sleep. Quite night and a nice temperature this time of year. Police patrol the lot every so often.

Nice location right outside of Tulum. $300 per night for two people in a van. Clean showers, bathrooms and grounds along with nice common area. Wifi decent. The only problem we had were the dogs. We love dogs and were excited to play with them when we arrived however, later when we were walking to the bathroom one of the dogs (one that would not come say hi when we first arrived) barked and lunged at us and managed to nip me. It wasn’t a huge bite but did break the skin and I’m not sure she would have backed off if the owner hadn’t come out and called her off. The next day when I was walking to the bathroom she again lunged at me and the owner had to hit her away with a rake. The owner seemed to say she is usually friendly, however, we definitely did not have that experience so be aware. Other than that nice place but not worth it because of the dog

Super friendly people, nice space to park. We just did a quick stop over and got hit with rain all night. Bathrooms are a bit dirty but usable. Super quiet night.
50 peso per person

120 per person, with wifi and showers. Parked in an empty field. Howler monkey were talkative all night.
We were also able to park our van in the parking lot for 5 days for no cost while we met family and drove to San Cristóbal in their rental.
Restaurant has decent food. Super friendly staff.

Not a real gas station however a small house/tire shop where you can buy gas in jugs in an emergency. We paid $350 pesos for 15L

Last fuel station in town heading to Campeche.
Friendly chatty fuel attendants.
Asked to fill the tank, they stopped it at 150peso worth of fuel. They said oops and continue to fill. We watched them continue to fill too 1100peso (the meter did not reset, we watched) time to pay, he wants 1250peso. Telling us the meter reset so it’s added to the cost. We told him no and that we watched the meter and it did not reset. He didn’t argue with us and we only paid for the 1100 peso of fuel in our tank. Watch out!! Watch your meters!!

Paid 230 for our dinner including a tip, food was okay. Access to bathrooms. Very friendly family who recommended going to the bat cave which was well worth it!
Didn’t get a lot of sleep as there was loud music playing untill 4am from the neighbors and there were 2 dogs chained up at one end of the parking lot that were very unhappy and vocal that they were tied up.

SUPER COOL!
They came out at exactly 5pm when we were there. Glad we showed up early as about 30 people showed up. Really cool to see!

Nice place. Lots of shade and a good breeze when we stayed. Payed 300peso per night. Decent wifi by the main office, bathrooms are clean and cold water shower, although not much pressure from the showers. One of the dogs (scarlet I believe) was super friendly and slept under our van during the day.
Some of the water taps at campsites work some don’t. Both nights we stayed we were woken up in the middle of the night by numerous dogs barking very close by for about 5 min then all went quiet.
Overall nice place

Waved through the inspection, police pulled us over, asked for ID and accused us of speeding 30minutes back and had been reported by another officer(we know for a fact we weren’t speeding and passed by no police during the past 1 hour) they told us we had to pay 1500peso to go. We told them we have no money but if they gave us the ticket we would gladly pay at a police station after we go to a bank. (We always stash our money away from our wallets) They then asked what we had on us for money, we repeated none. Then he askedfor 150 peso, told them we didn’t have any money We showed them our little bag full of coins on the center console and said he could have that. After about 20minutes they gave our ID back and let us go and we paid nothing.

Cool Mayan ruin. Museum is free and 60peso per person for the ruins. Worth it, saw monkey in the trees on the way to ruins and lots of iguanas

Really cool tour and we got to make a small amount of chocolate. Very informative tour.
Also really really good chocolate.

We stayed the night and the family chat with us for a few hours in the evening and in the morning. Super awesome people!

Paid 200 to camp. 200 for tour and bought reasonably priced chocolate. Didn’t try for lower price as we felt it inappropriate to haggle to stay on someone’s property.
Clean bathroom and they offered us use of their shower.
Highly recommend

Okay place in a pinch. We haven’t experienced mosquitos this bad anywhere, ever.
Water park seems nice. Pool is refreshing, showers have no pressure but get the job done.
No working water and no plug in.
Paid 250 for two of us in a van.

The rooms are very clean. Parking that can accommodate multiple busses that is locked at night. Hot water and spotless bathroom. Very quite even though it’s next to a busy road. Easy to find.
Paid 330peso for a two of us with a double bed, ac, tv and good wifi.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in during our trip in Mexico and by far the cheapest!

Stayed 2 nights. Really cool little jungle site. Nice pools filled with spring water. Bathrooms are okay. Say tons of birds including a Tucan and some macaws. Paid 80per person per night. Not to hot in the evening this time of year!
