Hotel / Camping La Punta Resort

We are sitting in one of their hammocks now! This place is SOOOO WORTH coming too. For 10 USD for car camping you get to use their pretty fast wifi, electricity, showers, toilet with seat and TP, lay in one of the hammocks or enjoy the view from an armchair. Love it! For 50C extra you can use the pool. Loads of space for camping here. If you want to connect your RV into electricity it's 20 USD per night but it's seriously the nicest place we have seen till now. Plus a super friendly staff and owner.

Fausto Ramon

Very simple place to camp at if you book the tour. Families living there are friendly. Allowed us to wash our dishes despite having problems with water connection (water comes every 3 days). Tour was incredible. Would love to do it in June-July when water is even higher. Fausto was great and informative. He doesn't speak English but that is not a problem. I speak super basic spanish and Fausto managed to explain me everything in a simple manner.

Aqua Splash

All info correct. Free, allowed us to use toilets and water to wash our dishes. Good place for one night.

El Bosque Hotel and Overlander Camp

All previous info is correct. 100L a night. Allowed us to shower, gave us chairs and allowed us to do and dry laundry. Wifi was pretty good. Helped us to find a place to buy a new mattress.

Rancho Don Canche

This is an incredible place ran by an incredible person. We had the best time with him and his friend. He allowed us to park inside the restaurant after he closed down. We could use shower, nice clean toilets with seats and TP. In the morning he made us platanos and coffee and we bought super cheap fresh orange juice from one of the local girls. Very very highly recommended.

Cenote Hacienda San Antonio, Homun

This is a place where locals and people from surrounding areas come for a meal and swim. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. The cenote is small but good for a swim. There is plenty of space to park and it is easy to reach.
From now on there is 25pp entry fee and 25pp fee for staying overnight in your car. For that money you can use wifi and toilets.

Cascadas El Aguacero

There is a big sign on the entrance saying it's 31 pesos pp. They tried to charge us over asking 35 and then said it's 100 if we want to sleep in our car. We decided not to go as the weather was bad as well. They had several tour groups inside.

Hotel Posada San Rafael

Great place! For 50 pesos we got to sleep behind the hotel under big trees, use hammock and a nice table with comfy chairs, bathroom, toilets, charge all our battery banks and other equipment and use one of the fastest wifi in a long time.
