Camping spots along the Selway river, there are many to find. From highway 12 it's 7 miles tarmac and after that 12 miles good dirt road till the end of the road. There are a lot of campgrounds and wild camp spots all along the dirt road. You can pass here with every vehicle. No cell service at all.

This place is NOT FREE , it's 15 usd per night! Full of RV's all with generators, we decided to not stay herein our tent

I wasn't able to find this place.

There are about 10 spots available, 5 directly next to the Arkansas river and others on the other side of the road. Place is open from April 1st till the 15th of October as far as we understood. You are allowed to stay up to 14 days.

Most sites have a place to sit with a roof, very quiet at night. 1 person is living here in his camper, sort of controlling the area.

Wild camp spot at the beach, good place to open the tent on the island. If you camp at the crowded beaches there is a big chance the police comes and sends you away. Here nobody came, we had a quiet night. Also possible to find a spot less windy.

Price for tent under the trees is now 60tl and 75tl near the beach. Hot showers and clean toilets available and a place to do hand washing. Free electricity available in the toilet and shower building enough plugs there.

Goes in the summertime every hour, the boat takes about 40 minutes. The ticket is valid for both ways, price for motorcycles is 22tl.

Price for motorcycles up to 250 cc 7tl. And for bigger motorcycles 14 tl. Boats are going about every 15 minutes and take 10 minutes to cross.

Wild camp spot with not so much wind. You pass a summer house village after that you come to the beach, on the right there is a nice spot out of the wind but next to the beach. On the beach itself there are a lot of beach chairs from the summerhouses, the place is clean.

Next to water but a bit hidden for the wind, it was very windy when we arrived till around midnight. Be careful when you go into the water, I just wanted to wash my hands but lost my flip-flops as I went down in the mud till my knees.

Very nice spot next to a waterfall, there are 2 of them around here next to each other. Not far from the main road but no one can see you from there. Just turn before or after the tunnel to the small road that follows the river and you see the spot yourself. No one was around when we where here.

Noisy till midnight on a Sunday night with music from the racetrack for children. After that quiet, we camped close to the guards who stay overnight. Toilets available and running water. We arrived late after riding D915 road but I think it's better to find a quiet spot somewhere away from Bayburt. Easy to find we see next morning.

Nice spot just next to the river. Only accessible by motorcycle or 4x4 with good clearance. We where the only one here and the only noise you hear is from the river. In our opinion the best spot around here away from all tourists.

Very basic campsite, it's more a picnic area. But it's quiet in the night. We paid 20tl for 2 people and a tent. Toilets are clean in the restaurant, there is running water available from a natural source as well. They wanted to open a room to take a shower.

It's free to camp here!! Don't pay, the guy just runs a tea shop nothing it is not his area.. When coming in the weekends it can be crowded and noisy, during the week is better especially in summer time. We had a bear walking next to our tent they told us in the morning, we didn't see or hear anything ;) there are nice views around this lake.

Here is the gate to Mount Nemrut, the road is in very good condition to get here. All cars, motorcycles or rigs can come here. Entry price 25 tl per person, from here you get on a small bus what will take you up and down for 2 km. You have a pretty easy walk up from there what takes about 30 minutes. We went in July and see a beautiful sunrise, up it was windy but not so cold as the people say. You can rent a blanket for 10tl. but a sweater will be fine..

Basic hotel near the city centre of Gaziantep with private/secure parking behind a gate. We paid 80 tl (cash only) for a 2 person room. Wi-Fi available, hot shower, normal toilets, beds are not great but ok. Friendly staff, all you need for shopping around available. Make sure your room is not on the street side, can be noisy..

Simple hotel with all you need. We paid 100 tl for a room with airconditioning and a good working shower, you have to check them.. We didn't eat at the hotel only bought 1 bottle of water 1.5l for 4tl. After that we decided to do our shopping in the market 200 metres away and cook ourselves :)

We arrived here after dark, everything was empty and they wanted to charge us 80tl pppn so 160 tl for a room. Absolutely not worth it so we continued to Hotel Karadut next to mount Nemrut, better avoid this place is our recommendation.

Yeşilgöz (green eye), beautiful small lake with a little river where you can camp. We came with our motorcycles and crossed a little bridge and camped next to the water. There is a little shop as well what sells all sorts of drinks (non-alcoholic), ice-creams and snacks. Free to stay, some locals told us they only charge if you use the wooden plates they made. Can be crowded in the weekends. Also possible to stay in 4x4 or unimog, just you cannot pass the little bridge. Very friendly people around. Also nice to just visit and take a look..

Nice waterfall, free to visit worth a little detour if you are passing from Yahyali. Has a restaurant next to it as well what serves pretty good food for reasonable prices. Locals will have a bbq all over the place especially in the weekend.

Very nice waterfalls, 3 of them in a row coming out of the mountain through a cave, there are some viewpoints on the road and you can walk down. We camped in our tent at one of the picknick spots down near the river. Amazing spot, I will add a photo. For overlanding vehicles there is a small parking lot where you can stay. For us a 5 star campsite, only very noisy from the water :) if you don't camp this is still a beautiful spot to visit, all the way is tarmac and a great road to ride especially on motorcycles.

We came here begin of June, on this side of the lake you can ride on the salt this time of the year. Very easy access for cars and motorcycles, we are on a motorcycle and had a lot of photo/video fun on the lake. There is also a all year round road what you can take to cross the lake. Plenty of wildcamp spots around but can be windy, on the Eastern side of the lake the is water and in the morning it's completely pink, very beautiful to see.

Nice, small family run clean pension. Very
big rooms including private bathroom which is a little small. Big double bed, room has a balcony as well. We came here out of the season price 100tl (currently approx 15 euro). It's very close to the lake where you can find a lot of restaurants. Free WiFi available

This is actually a juice bar, we just sit down here and figure out they had pizza as well. It is one of the better pizza's we eat in a long time with a lot of cheese on it. Juices 20 birr, pizza's starting around 80 birr. Next to the Haykel Pension.

We stayed here for 1 night, indeed no luxury at all and there are better places to stay. The good thing is they have a small room for 138 birr. We left all our stuff here when we went on a Danakil depression tour for 4 days, secure parking for the motorcycles and all our luggage inside a room. Good deal I think.

We liked this hotel in Lalibela, double room 400 bir (negotiable). Hot showers, European toilets with seat, Wi-Fi available. Secure parking with guard, there is a nice garden in front of the rooms. Hotel has a restaurant what we didn't try, we went in front of the hotel to restaurant Unique, can absolutely recommend the restaurant.
