July 16th, 2017 Break 1 Beach

Nice palapas at the beach. You can enter it from both sides. Watch the tide. Locals stay here as well.

July 15th, 2017 Campsite in the dunes

Nice campspot in the dunes only a few hundred meter away from town. We camped here a few nights. Sometimes people drive or walk on the beach. Not much traffic. You can enter the spot from the paved road with a sand shortcut, from the dirt road that starts in town where all the boats are or you can just drive on the beach. Very quiet. 4wd recommend for beach driving and the spot itself is deep sand.

July 14th, 2017 Internet 15 pesos/day

In this shop (on the right side of the mini-market) you can have wifi for 15p/24h. It's for one computer or phone and works only in or near the shop. Connection is ok and enough for Emails and some surfing. You can buy monthly plans for the whole city as well.

Mini-Market with purificated water. 20/Garaffon. Has some fresh fruits and some dry stuff as well.

July 11th, 2017 La Casa Del Cylista

Purificated water. Mighty be an alternative if the second one in town is closed. Beside Bancomer.

July 10th, 2017 Kadekaman Hotel & RV Park

it's like described a very fancy hotel. RV parking is kind of nice for a place besides the Mex-1. There is water if you need it. Restrooms and showers are super nice, even they were cold when we stayed here. We payed 10 USD or 170 pesos for one night, 2 persons without hookups.

July 10th, 2017 Mercado Sotres Supermarket

Biggest supermarket in town. Has lots of dry food and a huge selection of fresh cheese and meat

July 9th, 2017 Beach near Bahia Tortugas

Very nice and lonely beach. We stayed here 7 days and no one bothered us. Gravel road in is 2wd accessible but for beach driving you'll need a 4wd. There might be some spots that are accessible with standard cars a bit further away from the ocean. Nice surf, full Telcel signal and the town is only 15-20 min away.

July 2nd, 2017 Punta Eugenia on a cliff

Camping spot on a cliff. We didn't stay here but it seems perfect. Hidden from the town. Only a small fishing harbour nearby. Gravel-Road is suitable for 2WD, high clearance recommend for getting to the spot. Could be windy. Super nice views

July 1st, 2017 Antilope refugee

An Antilope Refugee, run by the government. You can visit it by just popping in and waiting at the gate for someone to show you around (could take a while for someone to recognize you, it's a huge area). About 1km off the Highway. 2WD accessible. It's free (we gave the employee 50 pesos as kind of tip). Employees are very friendly and you probably get a ride on their truck to see the wildlife. Absolutely worth it and not really a well known tourist attraction.

July 1st, 2017 Desinsectizacion

20 pesos for drive-thru desinfection. Asks about fruits and veggies. no further check.

July 1st, 2017 Ojo de Liebre

As mentioned before, great food at descent prices and a super friendly owner. Free Camping in the back. noisy at times.

July 1st, 2017 Pemex
