October 3rd, 2020 Oceanfront Perfection

We pulled off for a quick stay, easily found at night, there are several roads down but we took what seemed the most direct route and no need for high clearance or 4wd. Beautiful flat spot right up on a little cliff above the water, sound of waves were loud all night but no one else was around. Trash can at the spot. Close to highway but cannot hear the road and also cant really be seen from the road. Good cell service. Would stay here again.

October 1st, 2020 Santa Rosalita Point

All the way at the end of the point when you reach Santa Rosalita. You go through town and then get back onto a newly paved road for approx 1/2 mile then take a left down in some dune areas and another spot listed on this app named Santa Rosalita. Then you need to drive onto the beach towards the point which will most likely need 4wd. Then you will see some roads leading right off the beach back onto hard pack. Take those over the hill and keep heading towards the point to a few flat spots on the point with awesome views and most likely no one around. Fire rings setup at some of the flat spots but nothing else.

September 28th, 2020 Camping with good surf

Meet up with friends specifically to surf, this is an awesome spot, ton of flat spaces to camp right on the water, great point break, the only things that suck are there are a ton of bugs!! And a good amount of wind which unfortunately doesn’t discourage the bugs from attacking still. No need for high clearance and 2wd is fine. Town is super close, had some spotty service, would def stay here again!

September 26th, 2020 Playa Los Cocos

One of our favorite spots on our baja trip, beautiful clear water, white sand beaches, venders bringing by stuff all day and a palapa for some shade. The downsides are bugs and the toilets are pretty gross. Trash is available. Sign up says $200p/night for camping and a gentleman in a green ford explorer came and collected and gave us a official receipt. A lot of locals on the weekend but during the week it clears out. Apparently in the winter time it is full of snowbirds. Stayed 2 nights. Would definitely stay again.

September 25th, 2020 Playa Pilitas

Kept following the water NE as it passed in front of a white house, from this point on a ton of spots on the sand or cliffs above, drove through approx 1 mile along the road to a more private spot. Really beautiful clear water, few locals at night but one stayed late, met a fellow traveler and camped together, later in the evening a caravan of off-roaders pass our camp but just waved. Bugs were bad. Road was passable with 2wd and high clearance.

September 23rd, 2020 Los Arbolitos

Seems as though you cannot camp here anymore, there is a gate and a newer sign stating the area is only open from 10am-6pm, the guard at the gate reinforced this, drove a little south to a sweet spot.

September 23rd, 2020 Los Frailes

Awesome spot right on the water at the end of an arroyo. Little fishing village with not a ton going on. We were the only ones there, tried to stay at los arbolitos but the guy at the gate said no camping. There is a well in the arroyo but nothing else, bugs were bad

September 19th, 2020 Playa Ligui

Road through town and through the arroyo was in good condition and packed, saw a ton of locals in sedans driving down to the beach. Once you hit the beach you can head right to some soft sand, we saw some locals setup for what looked like a while and had music going so we decided to head north a little to the more rocky area where no one was really around us. Stayed for one night, the bugs come out at night and there were a lot!!

September 18th, 2020 Sea Lion Arch Cove

Took right from the paved road in town then a left down a big dirt road that was fairly wash board til you get to this little fishing building. Passed by the front if it and up the road where we passed by a few spots immediately. Took this road which is pretty sandy and some really soft spots but with 4x4 we only encountered one spot where we had to gun it a little. Went passed the lighthouse and down the road towards the cove.

We took the road to the left and came to a spot right above the cove which is pretty flat and has hard pack. Only a short walk to the water, has a rock fire ring.

Didn’t see anyone the whole time where we were. Might have tried to get down to the beach but it looked pretty soft and no one else was around to help if needed.

September 17th, 2020 Park on the beach at San Felipe Marina

We were told to move by the cops, ended up heading a little south.

September 17th, 2020 Wildflowers Camp

Got here late, took the more straight approach, sandy but packs down fairly good but had 4wd just in case. Went a little closer to the coast but not much farther, just down a road to the right. No one around all night, some trucks passed by in the AM.

In the morning we tried to get closer to the coast but ended up getting stuck in some sticky mud/sand took and eventually needed to use the maxtracks to get out. Nice spot that is close to SF and need a quick/easy spot for the night.

September 2nd, 2019 Cable Head

Beautiful place, sandy beach, grassy dunes, awesome sunrise

August 31st, 2019 Cape Enrage beach

Got in late but luckily there was still some space, really rocky beach but super pretty and isolated. You can back up right to the rocky beach!
