Delightful area! Bird enthusiasts gather for photos sunrise/sunset. Pit toilets out of order, 4 porta pottys seem to be maintained well. Trash Dumpster. No water. Verizon 2 bars 4G service, At&t 4 bars 4G service.
Love the environment with Sandhill Cranes migrating through.

February 8th, 2021 Indian Bread Rocks

Herd of Longhorn cattle graced us with their presence, marched through like a single file parade. The Rock topography scenery is lovely. Had sufficient cell service for AT&T and Verizon. Lots of other quail and birds happily flitting about.

February 7th, 2021 Willcox, Lagoons

Here during sandhill crane migration, such a treat to hear and see them! Great boondocking. AT&T and Verizon have 4bars. 5 min from town so services are super close by. just south of this pond is a dry lake bed. great place to let the dog chase toys off leash.

We stayed here for about 10 days in November, back for 1 night. We enjoyed the park. Clean bathrooms and showers. The switch for hot water heater is between the 2 buildings. Up is ON. No need to have cold showers. PALAPAS, beach front with power and water. We negotiated a lower rate since wed been here before, fella recognized us. Normally $20 US. We paid less. Also there is a dump spot near restrooms if you need to empty tanks as you leave. (There are a couple rigs here long term, I'm guessing they have sewer hooked up) Restaurant on site. Usually open weekends, but she's happy to cook for a group with some notice. In this cove is an Oyster farm. So its been interesting to see the workers as they prepare the baskets that they grow in.

Rocky beach, recommend water shoes to enter and exit. Pelicans roost and feed.

bring fly swatter. Only downfall, fishery nearby feeds the fly population.

December 2nd, 2020 Small beach. Good stop over.

Just arrived at suggested spot. Went a bit closer to the water then the doors suggested. Marshy low foliage. low tide brings birds foraging for dinner. Relaxing to the sounds of sandpipers, and other sea birds as the sun sets. We did pick up a kitchen size bag of trash in the area. We were just looking for an evening / overnight boondocking spot. Pulling a Tab trailer, found a nice pull through spot amoung the dirt roads near beach. We have 4 wheel drive but did not need it.

November 23rd, 2020 Rice & Beans San Ignacio

Good Meal, pointed at menu to order. Slow internet available at restaurant, doesnt reach to camping area.

As others reported, some road noise if trucks use engine brakes. Hot showers, good water pressure ( not cleaned recently) pool was clean but unheated. Stray cats on restaurant patio wanting food. Cats greeted us in camp ground also. Would stay here again when passing though. 200 pesos with no hookups. Friends stayed in Square near mission for free. Curious to hear their exsperience.

November 23rd, 2020 Huerta Don Chano RV Park

4.5 STAR spot.

4G 4 bars of Verizon service. parks internet strongest at Pavillion near sites 1,2. Multiple bathrooms and showers. Observed regular cleanings being done on the 1 near pavilion. I chose to clean a less used one. Washer on site. Love our site. Huge greenery seperates sight from neighbor. Tropical plants, green grass underfoot. Town a mile 1 direction. Beach 1 mile the other direction. Will definitely extend my stay in this great location.

November 8th, 2020 Campo Archelon Baja-Bahia de Los Angeles

5 STARS . Absolutely delightful place. Covid aware, restaurant staff wore masks. We extended our visit another week. Ecology minded Mother and Son run this place. $6 per night per person if no palapa. $8 with palapa. Showers, flush toilets sparkling clean. ( Not handicap friendly , huge step into womens toilet. Restaurant has easier access restrooms) There are also 2 small houses for rent 70.00 per night. Didnt see inside, but they were full more often then empty during our 2 weeks here.

We have a small camper, parked our window to the ocean and enjoyed beach sand and Sea of Cortez waterfowl. They no longer loan kayaks as some campers had life threatening exsperience.
Wi-Fi was spotty, wind seems to vary connectivity for this community. It was usually available at the restaurant and on the familys front porch (which is set up with chairs and tables for visitors to use). Dog friendly place, 3 large dogs live on property keeping coyotes away, yes some barking heard as they police through the night. My dog enjoyed playing on the beach with their pack.
Quality food and Beverages enjoyed in restaurant. The ice cream became an evening treat most nights. As did fires on the beach under the clear sky's. Magical place.

Sept-Nov Is the time of year that Whale Sharks feed in the Bay. Give yourself a treat. Hire Marcos for an Eco tour. 200 bucks. Approx 4 hrs in his boat enjoying the islands and animals. We saw 3 Whale Sharks, breathtaking! Water wasn't quite clear enough for us to attempt to snorkel with them. We observed scientists with them. Absolute JOY!!
