SO LOVELY!!! Dirt roads from town felt a little scary. "Will we find it???" But we just followed the signs to "Ray's Place" and no problem. Green, grassy, level, open spaces. Lots of shade trees at outer lots. Would be a little tight at full capacity. Spaces are small. But there were only a couple of other folks there when we stayed and it was dreamy. Favi invited us to help ourselves to oranges from the orchard. Even a juice press sitting out on a table by the pools so guests can squeeze their own for breakfast. .. Or anytime. The pool had just been painted and was drying so we didn't get to swim but look forward to it next time. Only one toilet/shower stall so it could get busy if more than a few campers didn't have their own facilities in their rig but it's very clean and spacious and pleasant. Water was hot. Scent of orange blossoms everywhere. Heavenly respite after the drive through the desert. We found it after reading older copy of Church book and were surprised to learn Ray passed away 3 years ago and restaurant is closed indefinitely. Apparently there is wifi but Favi didn't seem thrilled to share the code and seems worried about people downloading anything. Electricity at every site. Don't remember the water/sewer situation as we didn't need/use either. I think we paid about $15/night.
