S£500 a night for a bed in a shared room. Cheap and nasty. Bicycle can go in room, motorcycle can go in entrance hall.

Really great spot. Quite a few other campers here, the space is almost full with maybe 6 or 7 vehicles. I can see why, because we are so close to the ocean with excellent beach access. Right beside a nice park, equipped with a row of showers and bathrooms. Doesn't get better than this!

Charqui (dried meat, in this case horse) is the perfect snack for your hike to the Cueva de las Manos: light but full of protein. Found this charqui at Supermercado Sur, but it’s a lot cheaper at the source: 3000 CLP for 200 g. They even have merkén flavored charqui.

Popular, crowded, for a reason! Lucked out in getting a last minute reservation for this State Park. Pleasant sites along the lake. Too cold for swimming now. Showers were very clean and hot, with room to hang your clothes and toiletries. Good value.

24-hour fuel station with large patio. It has drinking water, free and hot cold showers for those who supply or pay a fee. It is on the bank of the highway that connects to several important cities of Chapada Diamantina. It has a restaurant and

Beautiful view of the Salton Sea and very secluded! I was the only one parked here.

It was extremely windy last night which made it difficult to sleep. Not sure if it is always this windy, but something to keep in mind.

Happy camping!

Stayed one night here and it was fine (we preferred Craggy Wash which is a little north of LHC). Many other campers, but easy to find privacy. It was very windy when we were there. Relatively close to town and good cell service on ATT. No amenities, but free.

We made our way in here with 2 larger 4x4 trucks. The road started to get a bit narrow for us so we pulled off for the night. We walked further up the road to the next campsite listed. A 4x4 pickup/suv could get there. Wanted to hike Tres Virgens but from the looks it might be a bit too much bush whacking for us.

Nice clean parking lot and store. There were trains going by until 11pm or so. Also, there are speakers in the parking lot that played the in store radio station all night. It wasn’t too loud.

We stayed for one night. Really nice place. Looks like it's used by locals, but nobody when we arrived. Entel mobile signal. Accessible for all type of vehicles. A litle bit of wind protection. Possible to pitch a tent. Big flat area. Quiet, just can hear a near by road over the bridge. A little bit visible from the small road with small traffic.
Transhumances.eu, you didn't find the right spot. Don't be afraid to go around and behind the steel building (something like gas station) ;)

very nice spot!
mostly because of the setting : on grass surrounded by trees, just next to those beautiful waterfalls.
the great thing is that you can climb the waterfalls, jump in the deep water, or walking down them on all the different stairs of the waterfalls.
it's 50 pesos per adult per night and 30 pesos per adult per day to access the waterfalls.
but we manage not to pay the waterfalls fee the second day, as we stayed 2 nights.
so we payed 160 the first day and 100 the second for 2 person 2 kids and a big rig

Got a knock from the Frisco Police around 10:30 that "camping is not allowed in the town of Frisco. They were friendly enough about it; I ended up moving to the scenic pulloff on I70 as it was getting late.

Free street parking in residential area. Street sweeping no parking allowed only on Wednesday mornings 8am-11am. This spot is next to some small apartment buildings. Area feels very quiet and very safe, and is only a few blocks away from Koreatown. The spot I’m in isn’t particularly level, I need to sleep diagonally on my bed, but that’s the only con. If I had had the energy, I would have kept driving around in this neighborhood looking for something more level. But it’s not too bad.

Really great location right off the highway & near a gas station. Kind of noisy at night near the highway, but no one bothered us. Only saw one other hiker around 9 the next morning. The trail itself is about a mile long, a nice little stroll!

Correction: River crossing is possible at high tide too. Just a problem after heavy rain falls as the river is too deep. Campsite is not accessible by car as it is on the other side of the river and there is no bridge. But you can park there and sleep in your camper and the locals don’t mind. Very enjoyable scenic 1 hour hike to the Waterfall Bluff.

This is an excellent camping spot. You likely need a high clearance vehicle to get to it but it’s only a little more than a mile off of the highway. You have the opportunity for good overland hikes in all directions. The mountain biking is not so good because the roads are a little sandy especially past the campsite. The Verizon cell service is extraordinarily good because you can actually see the tower by the highway and there’s no one using it but you. I’d recommend the site we did not see another camper in here for the four days we were in here. As the previous camper noted it can be windy here on our last night guess were more than 40 miles an hour.

Beautiful campsite with clean bathrooms, hot showers, the WiFi worked but only in certain areas, the campsites were amazing but some were on steep slopes with rolling hills so if you have an old camper like us, maybe ask to be put in a flatter site

Indeed looks like a very nice place to learn about the Maasai and it's very pleasant in bush atmosphere. But the first review is a bit misleading because there's not really a view of Kilimanjaro. The mountain was really showing off so we were looking specifically for a spot to camp with a Kili view. We left quite disappointed to Mountain's Hug Campsite which was another disappointment for a whole other reason. (Read review there.)

Pretty much as described. In addition to 7 RV sites, there are 5 tent sites. Each site has picnic table and fire ring. Trail to Buckskin Gulch and the route to Wire Pass Trail starts next to restroom. Good for short walks and dog walking too. Beautiful scenery with large white/pink streaked rocks.
