jifman15 | Nice camping with small covered areas. We paid 5,000 each. Clean bathrooms and some covered areas for cooking. Recommendable, especially when it's raining. |

conzaga.cassandra | Went there for a night. As we arrived during the day to enjoy the canyon, we had to pay a fee of 2$ to "keep the place clean". We went there on a Sunday, it was really crowded. Then a storm started and the police asked everybody to leave. We stayed in our car and did not move until everybody was gone. We went a bit farther than the actual location and it was a good decision. We found a flat grassy area and stayed there for the night. Nobody bothered us. No car came. We just saw a fisherman in the morning. You might need a 4x4 to get there since the path is quite Rocky and a bit steep, can be slippery as well. |

Nicole | dirt pull off behind pit toilet was easy to get to 2wd, it had big tractor tracks like it was under construction, a sign was face down saying road closed. I was the only car (tent camper) there. lights, noise from highway, and bird squaws were a little loud but with earplugs not too bad. |

instagram.com/kangaandtheru | Easy to get to in an AWD sedan, fairly level. Lots of other cars/SUVs/campers/semis parked overnight. Didn’t feel unsafe as a solo female traveler, just because of the number of other people also there. However, there was lots of broken glass and trash- not great for dog paws. pasazsaz | You must be careful with the access path, it is not too wide and it is not paved, there are some potholes, but it is a place very close to Tomar and it is really worth it. |

seekingelsewhere | Pretty nice camp spot. A big open field with plenty of space. some shady spots under trees too. Easy access from the road. Be aware that locals come out here to drive ATVs, party and chuck beer cans into the woods on weekends. Lots of litter on the NFS roads, but on the whole, a pretty good spot if it's quiet. |

wigg.luisa | We liked the place. Nice warm pool, plenty of braais, clean abolitions, very welcoming hosts. 400 N$ per site. After reading all the comments on here we were sceptical whether to come here or not, so we were pleasantly surprised and feel like our expectations of places may not really overlap with a lot of other people. |

katherineletts | A nice small park in a good part of town. Very friendly locals! Quiet place. A woman called to us down from her apt, complimented our van, and said it was okay to park here. An American who plans to retire here gifted us bread and packaged cookies, and ensured us the people living in this community are very nice and relaxed. We felt safe and had no issues staying the night. Very close to a large modern mall for all your shopping needs. Streets can be narrow around here, so a big rig may be a no go! |

offtoseethe.world | Okay for a night. Slept here with a few fellow overlanders. Limited traffic noise. Parilla until very late. Car alarms going off during the night. The women's toilets were just okay, the men's toilets were really dirty (even unusable). |

aslucas | BLM campsite, tucked just off the dirt road. Old rock piles make it look like a old job site and it can be quickly missed but once you drive up the small dirt incline there is about three large existing fire rings. Enough space for about three large trucks, not RV friendly. The view is grand and there are hummingbirds the visit often. Some road noise but it’s not frequent. One bar LTE for AT&T and full reception for Verizon. |

benediktnixdorf | A nice quiet place a few hundred meters down a washed out path. In dry conditions probably reachable in a normal small van. We met some people who live close by and they were okay with us camping here. Their dogs might pay you a visit (they both have a collar with their name and a phone number). Good phone service. |
