Nice spot to spend the night. Plenty of space, quiet and peaceful. Arrived in the dark so didn’t go too far. Not much wind but woke up to my car covered in a sheet of ice. No cops.

Beautiful courtyard cafe with street parking in front and free wifi. We were allowed to sit in the courtyard with our dog. Very kind and accommodating staff. The cafe/restaurant is now called Posada Real. They serve an amazing pour over coffee.

The east end of the lake has a huge beach area with lots of room for RV'ers. Appears not to be part of the Topaz Lake Recreation Area Park so overnight camping is free. several different ways to access the beach and lots of room to spread out and turn around.

Quiet idyllic mountain village. Overlanders are welcome. Comfortable climatic conditions. There are many opportunities for hiking. The infrastructure of the village offers various grocery stores (cheese, bakery, supermarket, ...), various bars and restaurants. We can confirm the previous entries.

It was ok, it does have a toilet and a shower, apparently with hot water, but we didn't try. There are 2 massive holes for future windows in the bathroom, one in front of the shower and the other above the toilet.
The grass is clean albeit unusually long as in almost a foot long in certain spots.
Humberto is a nice person but him and his friends did make a lot of noise while playing dominoes in one of the rooms.
Humberto seems to only be reachable by calling him on his what's app, number down in the comments, otherwise you can wait forever. We waited in the restaurant Carpe Diem next door (different ownership) which had amazing pizza. After about 1h we got in touch with him and he opened up the gates for us.
Any car can enter, up to about 4m. 10 bucks for the car for the night.

This was a nice stay. We felt safe the whole night. There was a few other campers around and a handful of cars. Some cars looked like they lived there. A worker came by in the morning and looked at the bathrooms. He didn't disturb anyone.
We would stay again.

The camping is run by Tony at Hotel Mazul now, not El Rinconcito. Amazing spot on the hill! The view is stunning. The beach is great for fishing, a bit rough and rocky for swimming or surfing. Check the wind forecast before you go, we had a crazy windy day one day that didn’t really allow for sitting comfortably outside, but the rest was A+! If laying in a hammock with a stunning view is your vibe, don’t miss out! We paid 250/night for 2 people and a truck camper. Don’t count on the wifi working well anywhere. 3G enough to let some whatsapp messages go through, but nothing else loaded. Showers are cool water inside the washrooms. Enjoy!

There is a water tap behind the station next to the propane pump. when I was there getting propane there was a Backcountry camper filling up numerous large jugs of water. pretty good place to get propane as well. it doesn't require you to back up to access the propane pump.

Great campsite for an overnight. Very clean, well organised and friendly. Good clean water No noticeable mosquitoes at this time.
The entrance is just south of the vet fence
The owners have "pet" eland that sleep next to the campsite.
Frozen game meat is available in the shop - we got a good sized pack of kudu for 100NAD. Also cold drinks including beers (the bar is currently closed).
Good MTC signal.
Definitely big rig friendly.

Truthfully the best mechanic for air conditioning and electric problems. Top hospitality. Tire repair and a market nearby. He will understand the tripper needs.

Run by Tony from Hotel Mazul now. Really nice spots, especially if you can score the big spot up on the hill! The view is absolutely stunning! Great beach for fishing, too rough for swimming or surfing when we were there. Check the wind forecast before you go, we had a wildly windy day there, but the rest were amazing. Cold showers inside the washrooms. Wifi didn’t really work, nor did 3G. If lounging in a hammock with a great view is your vibe, don’t miss out! We paid 250 pesos per night for 2 people and a truck camper.

We found a spigot in the parking area of this Chevron. It is not the paid water kiosk with the air. Drive past the store and you will see a spigot, see photo. Water tasted fine and we filled up!

New gravel down on the campground access road and new picnic tables. Didn’t camp here as there was an overnight storm so opted for the car park at the trail head because of no trees. Stunning sunny day after the storm.

quiet spot next to the river. when we arrived there was a couple shootin a BB gun, they were friendly and waved to us. Around noon the next day a man showed up to fish in the river. Otherwise nice spot with a beautiful sunset, lovely sounds of birds and insects, and is close to the Everglade NP Visitors Center. Would stay here again.

This would be a great dump/water area, totally out of the way of traffic except the water is all taped up and sprays all over you from the haphazardly taped up connection. Don’t waste your time stopping on this one as of today, it’s pretty messy.
