As described! So great, can fit any size rig, 2WD and low clearance is fine. The road down can be tricky to see. Oh, but yea, got a couple black fly bites in May, so keep an eye out.

Free hot showers in the recreational center!!! We also filled our water on the side of the bike location cabin. It was closed because I thibk it was early in the season.

There are two spots, one by the river for smaller rig where we stayed and another higher up for bigger rigs. There were also a fire pit and access to the lake. We had a really nice view and it was really calm. We enjoyed!

At the back to the left of the west winds truck shop! Big yellow spot on ground with red cover - there is water hose connected to building but I felt bad using it. The red cover is heavy

This place is not dangerous when the access is dry, some ground clearance helps. But it certainly has some of the best views of Cappadocia! And if you drive up close to the edge, you are perfectly hidden from views from the road driving North.
Whether it’s great for viewing the balloons largely depends on the wind — the simply may all be blown away from you. Also, facing the valley, you are facing the sunrise (at least May to August), so the balloons may appear black on your photos …

Verified this water source. Very quiet, as this is a closed boat launch, due to low water levels. But the restroom is open and the water is on. A 25 foot hose is enough, if you can pull up right to the restroom.

Nice place to stay. Parked by the garden center just like others mentioned. There were a few other campers parked close by, and nobody bothered me. Would stay again!

Turn right on the tracks coming from south before the huge lavastream. Drive all around the nose of the stream, leave the track and choose your spot. Fantastic vistas of the vulcanochain to the rising plateau of the Piedra Pomez.

So just wanna clear a few things up here. There’s only like 6-7 spots at this pin and it seems like half of them are people who just leave their trailer or tent there all the time.

Secondly, there is wifi which is amazing. However, it’s 5 bucks a day and it kicks you off every 20 minutes and makes you enter the voucher code again every time. Also if you only have one device, there is no way of getting your voucher code because it emails it to you but there is no service to open the email until you have wifi?? So don’t waste the 5 bucks unless you have a second device to check your email with. The first 20 minute session is free so.

Lastly, make sure you fill up gas before coming out here. There’s only one gas fillup in town and it’s expensive. Otherwise every nearest gas station is an hour or two away.

Nice StatePark with a couple campgrounds to choose from. Everything from walk in tent sites to large sites with electric. Picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Drinking water scattered around the campgrounds. Dump station available. We did not check out the bathrooms. Lots of hiking, biking and kayaking opportunities.

A parking lot with roughly 40 spaces next to the beach. Not big enough for RVs, but vans should fit just fine. Bathrooms and play equipment for kids is available here as well as kayak rentals. You can also access the North Lake Tahoe Multi-Use Trail System. No dogs allowed at the park, but on the trail is ok.

Absolutely beautiful spot in the forest. It rained while I was here so added bonus of everything smelling delicious. Verizon service was in and out but able to use internet on phone for periods of time. A few other campers at the spot up the road (magnoliatree) and some people with their dogs down by the water. Hunting is common in this area, heard gunshots throughout the day, so take care to stay on designated trails.

Modern campsite close to Bernkastel-Kues (wine village). No restaurant but Kiosk with breakfast service. Many big trees for shadow. Nice place to stay but not cheap (45€/night for two adults, one pickup incl popup-cabin).
Tiny toilets/washrooms but could be some more for such a big site.

An amazing place to spend some nights. Own by two young locals who have put their soul and heart to this place fixing everything with their hands. Both guys are really friendly and willing to share the secret s of the near by areas including Dana and Wadi Rum. The rooms are inside actual caves and the temperature is always cool. You can use for free kitchen area. The place is clean and the sheets new. The rates are from 30-60 depends on size of room. It includes breakfast and dinner.
