A small peninsula with gravel parking next to a skate park. we parked at the end of the peninsula, but it looks like it may get pretty muddy here if it rains, but there is plenty of room in the gravel area of the lot. Free. No facilities. Absolutely awesome view of the volcano across the lake!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nearly same as the place nearby. You can choose either this or the other point. Sometimes one has more cars and trucks than take the other one.
Hermosa vista!
Report Check-InNice place, a lot of movement in the night but most of them come for smoking not listening to music, so most of the time it is quite. On special days you can watch theater in the liquen center for free.
Report Check-InIt's a place where a lot of cars are stoping for a shirt while (smoking a cigarette, making a call, taking pictures, enjoyins the view). A lot of cars in the evening (some of them with music but not too loud) and the morning (not too early). We had a graet night and the view is awesome. Baños are now 500$
Report Check-Ingreat and easy spot. some others camper vans. some noise in the evening but the night was calm. someone choose our van as his toilet....
Report Check-InVery very nice view on the lake and the volcano, but if you want somewhere calm and a good night sleep I don't recommand. Maybe that's because it was on a Friday night but there were lots of cars passing by all night long with music.
Report Check-Instayed there 2 nights, cool view. 300 pesos toilets during the day. water potable. it is a vanlife spot, perfect to meet travellers
Report Check-InPasamos 1 noche dia domingo,

Report Check-InNice view at the Vulcan. Free. Busy in evening and beginning of the night with music and people hanging around. Later in the night quit. In the morning (9.00 am) free clean toilet in cultural centre
Report Check-InAll the baños are closed now, but we could use the ones in the cultural centre (opens around 10:00, I think). The noise of cars driving around and playing music kept us up the second night, so decided to move on.
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night. Very busy, whole night cars are driving around, parking, playing music etc. Toilets around the corner for 200ps open till 22:00h. Close to the city centre. There is a nice cafe in the cultural centre with wifi.
Report Check-InIncredible place!! You'll meet other overlander here... Safe spot with bathrooms (300 clp) and cold showers (1000 clp) really near... You also have a potable water free source near by (next to the bathrooms)
Report Check-InPerfect place close by the lake in the shadow of some trees. Only in the night cars are driving in and out as this is a view to the coast and vulcano.
Report Check-InLakefront Villarica parking spot, bigrig friendly. Spectacular view on Volcano, stayed overnight with some more campers, safe place, walking distance to city center.
Report Check-InNew Year’s Eve Day it was blocked off for fireworks to be set up. They told us to park in the lot next door (to the right as you face the lake) and it was even better. Great spot. We stayed two nights. That spot is at S 39.280060 W 72.221140
Report Check-InWe parked up from this spot a little as it rained the day we arrived.
Report Check-InVery nice place with an awesome view of the lake and the volcano
We had no problems staying there overnight with our van and were able to use the toilets of the cultural centre next to the parking lot
Bathrooms closed. Porta potty also closed. Use the cultural center bathroom. Good view. Less noisy than cultural center parking lot when it is raining because there is no roofed areas for kids to hang out at.
Report Check-InVery romantic and safe spot. What a surprise to see the volcano next morning.
Little bit noisy by Youngsters coming during the night listening loud Music.
perfect view of the vulcano Villarica. Great views of the Lake. very populair with the locals. hence busy.
Report Check-InGreat free spot next to lake. Stayed 2 nights. Plenty of gravel space with other travelers parked too. Nobody came to bother.
Next to Cultural Center, which if you play it right, you can come in to use their bathroom, electricity (not for vehicle) and internet from their cafe. Very friendly staff. 10:30am-8pm
Note: Place seems to be popular with young people that come to the lake l smoke, and couples looking to sneak away.
Report Check-InLots of local motorhome enthusiasts use this spot for overnight camping. We stayed here for 2 different times and both times there was at least 3 other locals as well. For more peaceful night park near the souvenir stalls. Locals go directly to the water for drinks and mingle. Can’t hear them near the stalls.
Report Check-InBeautiful view, but I guess we caught one of the unfortunate nights, even though it was mid-week. A group of party people were singing Backstreet Boys songs half of the night, other cars passed by with load music and somebody thought practicing a new skate trick at 3am is good timing. Perhaps we were just unlucky.
Report Check-InParked out on the peninsula just before sunset. Toilets were closed but the ones in the arts building were open till dusk. Gorgeous sunset. Could be muddy if a lot of rain.
Report Check-InGravel parking next to the skate ramp. Cars coming and going until 1am with a decent amount of reggaeton, after that quiet. Café in the cultural center has good coffee for a good price and fast WiFi.
Report Check-InEasy and calm stayed 2 Nights. No charge. Try to stay at a side where you dont bother someone if you got a big rig. Top view to the Vulcane.
Snackbars around.
Beautiful spot but very noisy in summer by locals until late/early in the morning. Banos in the near for 200 pesos
Report Check-InWe actually spent the night a bit nearer to the jetty as it was less crowded and flatter. Quiet place, another motorhome was there with us.
The kids liked the playground and skatepark around.
Quiet spot for a night. Close to city center. Not so muddy after a day of rain ;)
Report Check-InNice spot. A RV was there with us. Nice view on the lake, 5 minutes walk to the city center.
Report Check-InExcelent choice. Good view of volcan Villarica. Near the lake. Security zone. Good for kids. BC near, in the centrol cultural.
Report Check-InHere you can stay with a Camper near the sea and you have a beautiful view on the volcan and a great restaurant in the street.....! Free!
Report Check-InQuiet spot once all the day-trippers had left. Very convenient location for shops and restaurants. No facilities. Free.
Report Check-InNice spot!! Beautiful to wake up with vulcano view!! Busy during the day but after sunset nice and quiet
Report Check-InCamped two nights waiting for the clouds to break to see volcano.. Well worth it. Peaceful, quiet, great spot.
Report Check-InA free dirt parking lot at the outer edge of town near some souvenir stands and a little park, right at the shore of the lake. Pretty and peaceful spot. There were several other overlanders and almost no one else. The volcano was covered by clouds but the lake view is lovely nevertheless. Small wooden bathroom building open during the day for a 200centavos donation.
Report Check-InSpent a night here. Good spot. Exposed, but lots of other overlanders around.
Report Check-InPopular with overlanders (half a dozen when we arrived). No facilities and can get noisy from locals. Very pretty view of volcano. Paid banos during the day.
Report Check-InA small peninsula with gravel parking next to a skate park. we parked at the end of the peninsula, but it looks like it may get pretty muddy here if it rains, but there is plenty of room in the gravel area of the lot. Free. No facilities. Absolutely awesome view of the volcano across the lake!
