if you have high clearance, take a right "south'" up the hill for a little more protection and trees. Very busy on this Friday in .May.

Report Check-In

pay online or scan QR code at the entrance. 15$ per night

Report Check-In

This is a red dirt bumpy road with primitive campsites. Our 4x4 sprinter van didn't have any issues. $15/ night to camp, pay online on Utah State Park website or scan QR code on sign when turning onto the road.

Report Check-In

Late arrival - well, it was dark at 7pm. Easy to find spot. A few white sprinter vans dispersed. Road not bad. I in my CRV with bikes on back made it fine. 0-2 bars of Verizon LTE.

Report Check-In

Not free anymore but we paid the $15. Lots of spaces. We saw a few cars driving by during the day but was pretty silent otherwise. Great views and decent AT&T and Verizon service.

Report Check-In

great place lots of spots spread out. clean Port a potties!!! what a gem. saw rv motor home and a Toyota prius so that tells you about the road here. be prepared for bumps with amazing scenery

Report Check-In

THIS IS NOT A FREE BLM. Since 2021 there is a 15$ fee per day for this BLM probably because there are pit toilets and a big garage disposal. Pay online or at box which is about 0,3 miles from entrance.

This area is becoming a paid camping area starting May 15, 2022 due to becoming a state park.

Stayed two nights. First one was a Saturday- very busy! Had to go quite a ways down the road to find a spot, no cell coverage, no problem with the road condition with our 2W drive Promaster. Second night stayed closer to the main hwy, better internet and less noise ( weekend crowd gone and ATV’s run more further down the road.

Report Check-In

dirt road to reach the place, we were there with 27ft long RV. huge place, many campers, some highway noise.

Report Check-In

pretty busy for a holiday weekend mid Feb but not too packed. roads in decent condition barring the occasional big pothole. 2 bars att 5G, 1 bar Verizon lte

Report Check-In

Great spot outside of Moab! Porta potties on the road. I have Verizon service.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot but super busy.... even for last week in April

Report Check-In

Like the other comments have said, LOTS of spaces for all size rigs. Road is very bumpy, but big rigs were driving up and down it easily. It's very dusty if the wind is blowing much, saw several dust devils and got lots of dust in our rig. But if you're able to dry camp, this place if free for 14 days, and highly recommended.

Report Check-In

Just spent four nights here in a great spot perched on top of the slick rock. Tons of other campers, but had enough privacy. Within 30 minutes to town and both national parks. Bring your own TP to the outhouses. No cell service on ATT.

Report Check-In

4x4 not needed. there's even a portapotty. lots of open spaces. there was a bus running his generator all night, so we moved. peaceful, beautiful views, but crowded.

Report Check-In

Easy for 2wd low clearance. Tons of spots, wide open space. Fantastic sky. Porta-johns scattered around. Weak but consistent AT&T signal.

Report Check-In

Lots of spots, lots of fire rings, just drive in a bit if the first spots are taken. So close to Arches and Canyonlands. Stars are amazing. Quite a few people here but very quiet pretty early. Well worth it.

Report Check-In

Loads of space, but also very busy. Shouldn't be a problem finding a place as there's so much room to explore. Weekends seem to be even busier so expect to be in close proximity to other campers. Still, it was very quiet and people seemed to respect each other's space. The scenery is wonderful and it's only a short drive to Moab and to Arches. We got here with our 2wd sedan easily. No cell reception.
Certainly recommend!

Report Check-In

There are so many camping spots here! We got in late but there was still room, even with lots of people camping here. The night sky is glorious! And this is so close to Arches that it's a great place to sleep while exploring there. Portapotties scattered around. Stayed two nights, would stay again.

Report Check-In

What a wonderful place to be! Tons of space, so many options and choices for big rigs, and beautiful scenery to boot! The road was a bit rough, but just take it slow.

Report Check-In

plenty of space for all types of vehicles, road in is a bit bumpy.

Report Check-In

Lots of spots! Stayed for 3 nights. You can sometimes hear the train but besides that very quiet.
Many people are still around in december!

Report Check-In

Nice place, pit toilets, nice view, some times windy

Report Check-In

Very large area with plenty spots for Rvs. Easy to find. Cellphone Internet ok. Stay away from the road, very busy.

It is a huge square with several bays, streets where you can stay. At the moment there are a lot of people standing here but there is a lot of space. Big campers, vans, tents, jeeps, normal cars... It is possible for everyone to stand here.
BLM Land is open to the public and you can stand here for 14 days - free of charge.
At the crossroads (if you can call it that) there are pit toilets.
Wonderful starry sky!
If you are looking for warm and relatively clean showers without time limit go to the Recreation - Aquatic Center in Moab. On the official site there is even a shower tariff.
5 dollars per person.
https://moabrecreation.org/216/AmezMomentan they were clean and ok. Big hairdryer (3 pieces) on the wall but no hand hairdryer.

Down the willow springs road are tons of blm sites, some of them would host even 5-6 rigs, there is a pit toilet down the road and a lot of Dixie toilets around, every site has firerings, be aware of the wind which can be very strong here, very pet friendly, for free with a limit for 14 days
Wouldn’t be afraid to come in late, there are a lot of places, we just get down the road for a few meters and saw 5/6 free sites, a lot of other campers here too, not noisy beside of the wind
