El Salvador
Bladimir, the owner, rents out a few rooms (not sure the price), but you can also camp in front on a grassy bit right at the beach ($10/vehicle/night). outdoor shower, no toilets except in the rooms, but the last restaurant on the right side of the beach has a toilet for $0.25 or if u have some beers and food, they let you use it for free at any time thereafter (always offer to pay out of courtesy).
views onto the surf break, hammocks for use and pretty good wifi as well as electric plugs to use if u have an extension cord. occasionally bread, ice cream, veggie, pizza and chicken trucks pass by, but u can also walk at low tide on the beach to el cuco to get basic groceries.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
10 USD (fixed) for parking without facilities (only a cold lousy outdoor shower without cover), seems overpriced.
Would not recommend this stretch of coast to non-surfers as its just overpriced for what you get and people are not friendly compared to the unbelievably nice locals in the country side or on the great beach spots further up north.
One of the best places we've been on tge sea. Great view from the camper. Little grassy and everythibg else as described. Charged 6 $. More than worth it!!
Report Check-InAs described, great place right on/next to the beach. And Cindy who runs the place now is super friendly (unlike across the river at Alicia aka "the monster")
Paid usd5 per night for a car with RTT with 2p and 2kids.
Board repair (Yepi, very nice guy) right next to the place
Nice place to stay for some nights. First Jessy wanted 8 $ but we bargained it to 5 and could even use the toilets in the guestrooms. Way nicer people than at Rancho Alicia.
