Stopped for 3 nights here. A couple of hikes direct from the pitch. Would certainly use again.
Report Check-InGreat camping on a ridge overlooking Arches national Park. Only about half of the sites are open for use at this time. $25.00 per night. $12.50 with Senior Golden Age Pass. Beautiful vistas.
Report Check-InGreat spot. 25 sites open in winter. Only about 10 of us here tonight. Quiet and close to trails. If you have a senior national park pass only $12.50
Report Check-InSpent the night here. In the off season all sites are first come first serve. There were about 12 empty sites here around 2pm when we arrived, by 6pm there were only a couple left.
Report Check-InReally recommend booking in advance as the park gets busy in mid-March. Sites were fine, though some are more conducive to vanlife than others as they have more privacy for cars and some have the parking spot out 'front' with boulders blocking the site where the tent would go.
Report Check-InA few open spaces when I arrived, after dark. Very cool to hike out to catch the sunrise over the high desert!
Report Check-InWe will definitely stay here again. It had so many beautiful views, and and quiet during this time of year.
Report Check-InThis place is incredible! I don't usually pay for campgrounds but this one is worth it. In mid November, I had no problem getting a first-come first-serve site at 5pm on a Thursday. Two excellent trails are within walking distance of the campground. Around sunset, I had the entire Broken Arch trail to myself. Decent Verizon service is available at sites up on the hill in the middle of the campground. No service at most other sites. Arches is a magical place, do yourself a favor and really spend some time exploring!
Report Check-InA very typical national Park campground with a lot of rules, etc. Sites are OK but little or no shade. No showers. Flush toilets. Only water available is at the restroom to fill up your water bottles. However, the hiking trails are wonderful. Normally, this park fills up by reservation only. Tip: Drive up and talk to the campground host. Many times, they have cancellations. We did that and found a site.
Report Check-InIn Devil’s Garden campground, spot #24 is amazing! Fantastic panoramic view. Wander behind the amphitheater for close access to an arch!
Report Check-InWe were able to get a spot here in November by arriving early in the morning and no reservations during the fall/winter months. Flush toilets, dishwashing basins (2) and drinking water (no spigeots). Some sites are large and level, other smaller. Each site is allowed 2 vehicles. Great location to visit all in the park and really close to devil's garden trailhead (0.3 miles) and another great hike from the campground.
Report Check-InSuper nice location. Nice views and very close to 2 trailheads so you can walk to the trailhead. First come first served from November till February.
Report Check-InStunning campground. $25 per site, no hookups. In winter we didn't need a reservation, but in Summer you will. Call 435-719-2299 or go to www.nps.gov/arch to reserve. There are toilets and wash basins (communal), with fire rings and picnic tables at each site. The views from these sites are Definitely, Definitely worth the price.
