Martial Glacier Parking Lot | Informal Campsite

Parked here to do the Martial Glacier hike and ended up staying the night. Finished the hike and went to Beer Point next to the parking lot and had a beer and some cookies. Once we realized that we could stay the night in the parking lot(thank you IOverlander) we ordered another beer and used the Wi-Fi in the brewery. We stayed on a Thursday night and there were a couple of late night cars with music but they were short lived and it was quiet. Friday-Sunday brewery is open until 1am and my guess is that it will be loud late so we’re going to move to another location. Highly recommend the hike and the brewery. There’s a restaurant as well but didn’t try it. The brewery has bathrooms as well. No service with Claro in the parking lot.

We stayed a night here in our van after hiking to the glacier. Quiet place for us during the week between 10pm and 8am.

its a parking lot. good for 1 night to do the hike early next day. nice sandwiches at the tea house ;-)

Ok to stay for one night
No facilities. Not to flat neither. Was very very very windy for us. Couldn't get the wifi but don't really insist neither.
Where there on a Saturday and was a huge party until 5h in the morning so not quiet at all.

good stop for doing the hike the next morning. tea house didn't have any of the day meals any more at 7pm.
from the parking lot you can get the refugio Wi-Fi pw [passwords are not allowed ]

The tea house also offers delicious food. We had steak and fish of the day and it was really good. Price is comparable to the rest of Ushuaia. The hotel’s rooms and cabañas are very nice, although really pricey. However one night in front of the chimney or in the whirlpool is really worth it. They allow pets!

Someone stole my ...... floor mats. Yes, really. They were on my roof to dry. I’m not even mad, just confused. Nothing else was touched.

Lesson: everything is safe except floor mats.

Practical parking lot, if you are going to do the hiking trail to the glacier. Quiet during night, but traffic starts at 9 with tour busses.

Very nice and quiet place. Friendly staff at information office as in casa de te and gift shop. Nice walk to the Glacier with an amazing wizw on Ushuaia bay.

good and quiet place to stay overnight. there is an information, where you can get stamps for your passport ;-) with nice and helpful people and clean toilets. there are also some nice restaurants/casa de te.

Nice campsite just outside of Ushuaia. Fun mountain bike trails (some very technical) leading from here into town.

Nice area. Skilift is closed (cause no snow ;-)) Teahouse with nice atmosphere and lots of Tea, Coffee and cakes.

Toller Platz nach einer wundervollen Gletscherbesteigung. Der Ausblick auf Ushuaia und den Beaglekanal ist grandios.

Excellent place. Cafe & shop opposite bottom of ski slope open 12 noon to 8 pm. Stunning views. Much better than Ushuaia. WiFi code still working & fast.

We have a strict no Wifi passwords policy, and are going through places added and have to manually remove these passwords. Would you be so kind as to not share that info on the app? We, the Team and the owners of these establishments will greatly appreciate it.

Parked on the beginner ski slope (on left next to small hut). No toilet and a few houses nearby but much quieter than the town. Fine for an overnight sleeping spot. WiFi code still works.

Nice quiet parking lot at trailhead to glacier. Nice little walk up to the small glacier with beautiful views of town and surrounding mountains. Cafe with wifi and bathroom while open.
