USDA-FS campground by the water. Has electric and primitive sites, dump, potable water. 2021 prices are $28 for electric, $10 for primitive, 50% off with pass. Showers ($4 for non-registered campers), $6 dump fee.
There is boondocking on the road before you get here but we wanted electric because it was hot and wanted air conditioning.

Great campground, we had it to ourselves! Very clean. Amazing scenery and tons of animals. Im sure it fills up during peak season.
Report Check-InDisappointed I paid more than stated on USDA-FS website for Lucerne CG. The Concessionaire charges more than the USDA-FS posted 2021 prices. Electric sites are $31, Senior Pass is not 50%, instead $20. Non-electric sites are $20 but 50% with Senior Pass. Posted website prices for dump is $6, concessionaire charges $7.
The campground roads and the road leading to the campground are all paved, as well as the campsite parking. Campsites include covered picnic table and fire pit. Showers and toilets are immaculate and there are dumpsters.
You will probably see wildlife, we had campsite visitors about 8 PM, a herd of antelope.
Report Check-InThe name is Lucerne Campground not Lucerne National Campground (it’s in the Ashley National Forest). USDA-FS campground, 6,050’ elevation, 40.986871, -109.59212. 2021 prices are $28 ($14 with pass) for sites with electric, $20 ($10 with pass) without electric. Showers ($4 for non-registered) and dump station $6.
Report Check-InThey also fill propane tanks at the marina. There is also a Sinclair station back in Manila that fills propane.
Report Check-InNice campground by the water. Has electric, dump, potable water and tent areas. There is boondocking on the road before you get here but we wanted electric because it was hot and wanted air conditioning.
