Description

This is what overlanding is about. *edit* (depends on who you ask/your timing *endofedit* 65 miles from Pucon. 20 miles of pavement and 45 of gravel (no washboard!). Took us about two hours. Great camp ground. 8000 per Person includes termas for the day, showers, banos, beautiful setting next to the crystal clear river. Cabanas available. It was cold and raining/snowing on us in late Nov. which made termas even better. Totally worth the drive.

Lindo lugar, con espacios para carpas o Camper que soporten un camino malo. Las termas excelentes, piscina, hot tubs orilla del Río y cabañas si no quieren acampar.

Very bad road to get here. Absolutely not recommended for big rigs. The price is 15000 pp if you stay for the night. Nice but only few thermal basins. Not worth the effort wiyh the road.

Beautiful road to get here coming from Colico lake. There are several big tree trunks filled with hot water and a swimming pool with hot water and 2 concrete pools by the side of the river with hot water. Not a commercial big resort so the price was ok $15000 pp all in (camping with electric and bathrooms and soaking). For us the water could be hotter but it is a nice laid back place..

went to check out rio blanco as well but is only tents! (10000 van+1px to park in uneven parking lot)this is much better for campers .12000 van+1 ! u must take the road throu Pucon! the other around from Villariccs that google pointed is a nightmare of potholes/washboard!! anyway so worth the trip, and relatively cheap camping+hotsprings fee

Nice campground with lots of shade. Looks like a popular place (we are here before high season and on a weekday).

The Thermae across the river has a nicer, more natural looking bath, AND they sit right next to the thermal source. The water for San Sebastian is piped across the river - it's the same on either side.

We paid CLP 10,000 per person, which includes the use of the thermal baths (priced at 7,000 per person).

Entered the camping as I finished the hike through Huerquehue NP - and was greeted by 3 dogs and reggaeton music - 10000pp for a crowded place (more than 50 sites), music beer and party included. the termas here are a concrete pool full of people.......no place for a visitor seekibg a serene night in the nature (at least not in the mid-season). I chose the opposite side of the river - ecocamp ftw!

very nice with lot of shadow. Price with termas was PCL 9000. They also sell bread and some basic supplies. Restaurant was open for dinner. We also saw Termas Rio Blanco (PCL 7000 with termas) but we choose to stay in San Sebastian because of the plain shadow camping area to park the camper.

Maybe good in low season. It was full, dirty and loud. Went to Termas Ecologicas on the other side of the river.
