We saw this place and asked the security guard if we could spend the night as it was getting dark. He politely told us to ask the owner who was very nice, asked if we planned on eating, but we'd already had dinner. We bought some desert and banana bread for the next morning and he happily let us park around back of the restaurant between the big swimming pool area, away from the road enough to hide you and cut down on noise. Overnight guard and they left the clean bathroom open for us. Probably best stop you'll find around here. They said lots of overland park here so not sure what happened with previous poster.

The lady who owns/manages this restaurant/property is very generous to travellers. Behind the restaurant is a big parking space to stay overnight. Even further behind is where there is a water park that is currently closed but located in the park is where showers and toilet facilities are located for use. Would ask permission first if camping is available. This is the second time we stopped here in two months apart from stays. Dogs are fine. Restaurant with free WiFi inside. A drink or food purchase would be courteous:) There is also a panderia (bakery) attached to the restaurant. Very tasty treats!
