Nice clean and quiet spot in the woods near Truro. We spend the night there and it was really quiet. Plenty of space for a couple of Vans: We were 2 vans tonight. We spoke to trails builders…Vans are welcome if we keep it clean. :) They plan to reopen the park soon after some needed updates.
The road is close but it didn’t bothered us.
Recommended!

Small place for a few cars. As well as during the night very noisy due to the busy road. Anyway park is closed (unknown reason).

Report Check-In

Large space, plenty of room for multiple cars. Right next to a busy road so a little loud in the evening. Otherwise great 5km hike you can do.

Report Check-In

Nice, quiet Spot for the Night. Currently the hiking trail is still closed.

Report Check-In

Excellent place to pause & eat. Didn't have time to do the trail.

Report Check-In

Really quiet place. Toilet available on the site. Locals come to walk their dog in the trails but thats in the evening. We saw a bear, so look after your dog if you have one! Nice spot

lots of more secluded and level spaces available in the forest next to this parking. you can find blueberries, ATV tracks and some trash. you hear the road but it is fairly quiet at night. cell reception OK. some youth roaming the area.

Report Check-In

Very quiet place. We slept very well. Some road noise but didn't bother us. Another van was also there.
Endroit très tranquille. On a très bien dormi. Près de la route, mais ça nous a pas dérangé. Une autre van était présente.

nice place close to a noisy road even the July 1st. we put our tents on the grass close to the picnic table

Report Check-In

Parking lot is as described. In the back it does slope down a bit. But the front of the parking lot is more level.

There was quite a bit of traffic overnight. I assume it's because of all the transport trucks who are delivering from home hardware and Sobeys as this is their main Warehouse hub.

Report Check-In

Nice little spot, some traffic noise but really quiets down by 8-9pm. Trail located off the parking lot is a 4.4km loop and is quiet lovely. Shared the spot with 2 other vans and can easily accommodate 7-8

Nice spot easy to find! There was another party that arrived at the same time as we did, plenty of space to have our own intimacy!

Please, make sure to clean up after you leave xoxo

Much luv

Still open, we stoped a few hours to rest and Go.
Nice spot for a stop and Go.

Stayed here last night. Very quiet with a nice 2.5 mile trail that's great for finding mushrooms. The restrooms were not open.

Report Check-In

AWESOME spot!! Grassy areas with picnic tables near the start of the table and an easily accessible parking lot from the road. Quiet evening despite road traffic. Locals on the trail in the morning, but all were very friendly and supportive of our tent spot!

Report Check-In

Nice spot in nature. Pretty much as everyone has described. Perhaps just a bit too close to the road but it is a trail-head after all.

Report Check-In

As described.

Parking lot for trail head. Nice lot. Large.

Dark and quiet at night. Road noise wasn't much bother.

Don't leave a mess.

Report Check-In

As described. Well maintained, nice trail. Not sure if birds are noisier than traffic but nicer to hear. Both quiet at night when it matters.

Report Check-In

Indeed a convenient spot to camp, perfect with gravel ground if there is heavy rain. Clean toilet with paper and sanitizer. Nice walk, unfortunately some parts are flooded at the moment due to several days of rain. Some traffic during the night, but not bothering.

Report Check-In

close from the road, but that's fair. toilet, picnic table, little Hiking... chill place close from the highway.

Report Check-In

Flat gravel parking - cleanest pit toilets we’ve seen so far !
No bin so leave only footprints ;)

I would not sleep here, but it's a good place to stop to stretch legs and have a quick lunch.

Report Check-In

Parking lot of a small trail, quite close to a bigger road. Trail is really nice to walk and seems to be quite popuar - lots of people parked there in the evening and the morning. Had a picnic table and a dixi toilet when we stayed there.
