Report Check-InWe camped at the sandy beach parking lot near here because we had our camper. This looks like a great spot to car camp if you take the right road in. Road is plenty wide enough for any vehicle but may be a bit tight for some to turn a trailer around.
Report Check-InThis sight IS accessible via Farm Road which is long and windy but will open up to a small clearing near the beach. Google maps might direct you to an old over grown trail. We found Google maps was often confused in Newfoundland. It is a great spot with a fire pit, picnic tables and a beautiful beach. Only for small campers or tents.
Report Check-InIt is umpossible to get to these coordinates with any car, foot access only! The picnic site and table are 140mtrs to the west. At that site you are NOT at the beach, it is hard to get a car in a level position, the firepit is full of rubbish and it is a bit run down. To get here take the so called Farm Rd. from the main highway.
We were rather disappointed and would NOT rate this camp as TOP.
