Chile
8,000 per person per night for camping. GPS is for camp area that is a small road off the main road to Chile Chico. Amazing views. Best for tent camping as there are many tent pad areas. No large rigs. Ok for vans and trucks. Kitchen has tables, lots of electrical outlets and stellar view. Some benches around. Can walk along beach to the Terra Luna lodge and use their internet (must get a drink or something and it was expensive). There is a fire pit but we didn't ask about wood. We think the showers are hot (gas water heater) but we didn't use them. Our GPS didn't show the road into the camp site but there was a sign on the main road. It is before Terra Luna if you are driving. If you have a long enough cable you can take power from the refuge.

Report Check-InWe stayed one night. No electricity but possibility to charge in kitchen /living area. Very nice but was a bit cold when we used it. Hot shower but almost outside. Due to temperature we skipped this. No hot water in kitchen. No wifi. Beautiful view next to the lake.
Report Check-InBeautiful camping spot with an amazing view on the lake carrera. Few spots for campers (2-3 max I think), and spots for tents as well. Hot showers and full 4G Entel.
Report Check-InThis is the only camping open all the year in the city. it is a very beautiful place, above the lake, hot water, no WiFi, it's clean. Emily and his gramdmother live next to the camping in a farm with lot of animals (chicken, ducks, cats, ...) who are so nice. Emily is very nice and she like to convers.
Report Check-InCame here in the afternoon. Took a while to find someone. Unfortunately (Permanently?) CLOSED - got send away.
Report Check-Ingood place for a night, it has stunning views of the lake, 5000pp, it has hot showers and kitchen area
Report Check-InGreat spot as described. Very narrow track in. Enough space to park F350 with slide on camper. Flat but not fully level for me, but good enough. Hot showers in cramped cubicles. Full oven but minimal kitchen ware so you'll need your own. Still 5000clp per night.
Report Check-InThis is absolutely an awesome camping!! Hot showers and a stunning view of the lake! The owners, sra. Marina & Anibal are locals and absolutely awesome people!! Also great prices!
Report Check-InWell found Mike and Shannon (SM Boiler works) this is now one of our favourite sites. And it is magic! We stayed her a few days ago on the way down from Chile Chico (which is also one of our favourite roads, do not miss) the weather was gorgeous with no wind so we stayed 2 days. Since then we have been to Villa O'Higgins and on the return journey the weather was awful, we decided to divert back here due to the facilities and when we got to the village it was still poring with rain. By the time we had got the roof tent set up the sun come out, the clouds disappeared and was glorious again, magic! You can fit a small rig on pitch 1 (we have a Landcruiser and the roof tent opens out to the back so are quite long) and level with 2 blocks on on one side at the back and a large pebble on the same size. at the front.
Report Check-InGreat place just before the village when coming from Chile Chico. exactly as mentioned before. Beautiful spot at the lake in walking distance from town. I guess it can get quite windy if the wind is directly at you but there is plenty of shelter. Big kitchen and living area. family is very friendly and helpful. with our little van we took spot nr. 1, perfect!
Report Check-Inspectacular view from the lake and mountains. friendly owners, super clean and well cared. is a must stay place. place for tends and little motorhomes. there are two kitchens and living areas with fireplace, sinks, electricity and bathrooms. 5000 per person. the showers are tricky, with little variations of the water flow the heater goes off and really cold water comes. be aware of little variations in the temperature of the water and be ready to dodge the cold water. turn the hot water off and on again. it will get hot fast again. good luck.
Report Check-InWell-kept campground with great lake view and a big kitchen and dining room with panorama lake view. As we arrived hot shower was broken but we could use their private bathroom instead. When we left the next day the mechanic arrived for repair. We paied 4000/p.
Report Check-In$6000 a night per person. Not all spots level. Otherwise exactly as other people have said.
Report Check-InWonderful little place! We stayed here two nights and spent most of the time just looking at the lake. They let us use the firewood for free.
Report Check-InSite actually called Señora Marina. Great small campsite with a little private beach. We came in with our truck and took spot 1 which we thought was the best spot as there are no other sites around you. Great views of the lake, clean bathrooms - hot showers all day / kitchen (there is a fridge so buy beers!) / dining area. CP7,000 pp, wifi next door at cabañas
Report Check-InNice camping right by the lake. There are two buildings available for use. One has a full kitchen with gas stove, tables etc, great lake view, hot showers and bathrooms. The other one has a big fireplace and wood burning stove. They were happy to bring us fire wood (we offered to pay a little extra), and it was a cosy place to celebrate Christmas. The owners are farmers and have some sheep and chicken roaming around. Place was dog friendly but asked to have her on the leash. Cars and vans fit easily. There's no height restriction but a narrow gate or two to pass through.
