Seems as though this spot has become more official, as the gravel road in seems well-graded and maintained. Also, there's now a turn around loop at the end just before the cliff, and a row of "parking spaces" with stops along the right side. No "no camping" signs or any other signs so we stayed for the night in one of the spaces. Traffic died down at night and it was very quiet. No signal on Google Fi or Tmobile.
