I can latterly say nothing good about this place except the dam view is fair and the BIG Trees are a nice saded spot.
Broken ablutions, zero hotwater or toilet paper, rubbish laying around, very sad that with little effort this place can be nice.
Leokop campsite not operational right now ('under construction') but Sandford campsite further into the park is. We paid 260r for one two international adults. Nice view over lake but campsite fairly old. Ablutions ok. Seems open to wildlife to wander around the campsite.
Report Check-Innot really clean nor maintained, we are alone in campsite space for about 10 campers, 80 pppn currently -40% covid special
Report Check-InWe were the only ones on a grassy campground just close to the lake.
Ablutions are old, but clean and after a 3-hours-self-guided-game-walk (we saw many, many antelopes and zebras) we enjoyed a perfect hot shower.
160 Rand for 2 persons and a camper including electricity.
