- Traveling RSA to eS
- open 07:00 - 22:00
- RSA out 5min, customs asked if we had properly stamped CPD (yes) but did not want to see
- eS in 30min (busy probably because it was Easter), everything is typed in manually
- Road Toll (Foreign): R100 (no cash, card only), seems to be irrespective of vehicle size/weight
- no vehicle inspection
There is a GALP petrol station right after the border, where both Diesel (50ppm) and petrol are ca. R2.50 cheaper than in RSA
Small MTN booth for SIM card … but long procedure
Polite, quick, no hassle. Both - SA for stamping out and eSwatini for stamping in.
Swazi Immigration handed out a tourist Information booklet. Very nice !
Went in with a SA registered car. TIP is not required.
50 Rand Road Toll.
Report Check-InCompletely incompetent customs agents. If you need a TIP, better to cross by Lavumisa border
