Great heritage site
entrance fee internationals 15$pP
guide 3$pP (for 2 or more people)

we tried two times our different credit cards, but it doesn't work. so cash is better.
if you are the first one, then you should have the money exactly because they don't have change in the morning.

we had the the guide Teach, which was really great. He was history teacher and had always an answer to all our questions - we can highly recommend him.
You can contact him before via WhatsApp
Teach +263 785 327 905

we recommend doing the tour early in the morning, because it can get very hot

Great Zimbabwe is well worth a visit! It really is amazing and a surprisingly large complex of ruins. We took about 3 hours to walk around the whole complex with lots of stops for questions and photos. Hired a guide at the gate which is really reccomended to get the best from the site if you've not been before. The guide was excellent and very knowledgable so we tipped her generously as the official fee was quite low. Try to visit early in the day as it can get quite hot and there is lots of walking and climbing up stairs involved.

Still same prices. Children under 5 are free. Amazing tour (3h) and I think that is definitely better to do it with one guide (3$ p.pers)

internationals one person: 15+6$ for entrance and guide. A small dance is done by a few persons mid tour and they expect a small donation which the guide will directly encourage.

A spectacular monument that more should be aware of and make the effort to see. The guides and guards are very friendly and passionate about the history. Speak to Champion; he's full of knowledge and enthusiastic. It's worth the effort to climb to the top ruins; the view is phenomenal.

An absolute must visit! It’s $15 pp and an extra $3 pp for a guide. The guide is worth it! It’s an amazing place and considering it’s history, construction and architecture it should be a must more visited location. Don’t miss it!

From 15. November 2018 on you have to pay the admission in US$ as foreigner! As local, you can pay in bond, the rate is 3:1 to the US$ at the moment, so thats pretty unfair...

How amazing is this place!! Come early, book a guide like friendly Ruth to show you around for 6 USD and come back in the afternoon for the sunset, well worth the visit. The sunset on top of the rocks on the hilltop ruins is fairytale like.

Awesome site. We walked up the modern path and down with the ancient path which was a good choice...
Out guide was named Teach. He took the time to explain all what we saw.
The highlight was off course the great enclosure. Next to the impressing architecture we were amazed by the cool temparature inside the walls. Outside we had tempuratures of 35+ degrees, inside it was much cooler and nice...natural air conditioning.
We paid 15 USD pp entry fee and 3 USD pp for the guide which was totaly worth it.
