Something not right?

Description

Another case of needing a hotel with secure parking in the city. We only stayed one night, favoring to head to the more popular city of Sucre sooner rather than later. This hotel was decent enough, but lacked wifi. There was a kitchen, but we're not sure if it was free for guests to use or if it was part of a restaurant that was not open. Entry has height restriction, big rigs may have trouble.

not as bad as described given its convenient location in the city and the safety and space of parking. yes, ive seen cleaner toilets and showers but definitely worse as well.

Paid 60 bolivianos for 2 people and our van per night. We liked the location, it was less than 15 minute walk to the Center. It was mostly quiet during the night (except Friday night when there was a party until 5:30am). It's a concrete, secured parking lot, and not a lot of room between vehicles. It worked fine for us, though. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but not the dirtiest; we brought wet wipes with us to clean the toilet before sitting on it. The shower was hot. No WiFi. We thought it was fine for our time in Potosí. We also told the owner that many reviews, and our own experience, suggested the cleanliness could be better so maybe they will take that into account moving forward.

The cheapest private room was 40bob per person. The room was quite ok, although a bit worn down. But the staff was not incredibly helpful - waited for 15min, being cold and wet (arrived on a motorbike when it was raining) until they actually made an effort to find the keys to the room. The shared toilet was stinking of urine and there was no light. Moved to another hostel after one night. Place to park cars/motos, but probably not for very high campers.

Silent and nice rooms. With private bathroom 90 p/P. Ask Boris at the Reception for tours to cerro rico. Very recommendable. Also for Opportunities going shopping etc. We parked with our car in the backyard. High clearance 2,70. Good place to stay
