Too windy and exposed to the highway from both ends. We decided not to stay here. Does have fire ring
Report Check-InI’m a newbie traveling in a converted box truck. This site was great for someone like me. Right off the road but with some distance between you and the road. Just over a mile away from the Trail of 100 Giants. Relatively level if you park creatively. Very quiet. Very little traffic. Unfortunately, all the surrounding mountain had been burned up by fires, so there was only small vegetation and a few remaining damaged trees. There’s a hidden gem near the campsite. Great spot!
Report Check-InAwesome spot! Right off the road but traffic is minimal, even during the day. You could park two 20’ rigs with some imagination and levelling blocks. The views are great, it’s quiet. Love it!!
Report Check-InRoad access to this campsite through the Reservation and 190 are both closed.
Report Check-Inone of the most amazing campsites I've been to. it snowed the entire time we were there, we stayed for 3 days. level spot up off the main road, even so traffic was very minimal. views were magical, we were at cloud level as they were rolling through the mountains. definitely not big rig friendly. we were in a 25 foot skoolie and we're able to get in and out but anything bigger would be pushing it. also it's a mile from trail of 100 giants. quite cold tho.
Report Check-InGreat location, space for one rig - near the 100 Giants trailhead
