Description
After a terrible night at Gavoitas nearby, I slept here after having eaten a very good pizza ( I couldn’t finish a medium size) very good spot to camp. After last guests left there total quietness. Just what I needed. Nobody cared
I was there. Have asked guard before if it was safe, and he said it was.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We had dinner and drinks and asked if we could stay overnight. ( with our truck) It was no problem

Report Check-InThe restaurant owners have now placed signs at the river and carpark saying it is prohibited for campervans to park here. We did enjoy a wonderful afternoon and evening enjoying the facilities of Bambaê restaurant. It’s a stunning location with very very good food and ambience.

ficamos aqui uma semana, lugar top super tranquilo, os funcionários do restaurante são 10, a Lígia é a gerente super gente boa, se precisar de algo chama ela, a pizza realmente é top, e o lugar então é muito bacana, tem música ao vivo nos finais de semana, o rio é muito bom para um banho, super recomendo deixei umas fotos aéreas pra ajudar 😉
We slept here for two nights, while visiting Lençois Maranheses. Very quiet place and with a nice view to the river. Just have some repellent for the mosquitos, there are definitely some of them here. On these warm and humid days, we slept with the van's doors slightly open, so we could get a fresh breeze from outside and we felt pretty safe.
Report Check-Inas per below, bought a beer at the bar and used their facilities for the afternoon. nice bar/restaurant. mototaxi to the town center is 12 rs.
met Marcelo one morning here, owner of Alternativa tours (has 10+boats), he had a boat stop at the Bambae for the 3 stop river run to the Atlantic for 70rs. the bar could call for you, last boats are at around 9:30am.
