Place is nice and quiet. A bit worries coming up here in a promaster during light rain but with a creative driving, you’ll be fine. Pick your path and don’t stop in soft sand. I was all alone on a Monday night/Tuesday.
Report Check-Innice area with easy access. done in 2wd SUV.
great views in all directions and especially over the small ridge to the east. more secluded and peaceful than the other site near by, but less room. good turn around area for a small/medium RV. great cell signal (5g TMobile). few bugs (end of May) and perfect night temps once it cools off.
Report Check-InNice quiet place to pull into at dusk far enough off the interstate to feel private. The road seemed fine, a few bumps and washboard but easy to get through.
Report Check-InVery quiet and scenic spot. The road would be difficult after a heavy rain, but I had no problem getting there with 2wd when dry.
Report Check-InNothing too glamorous, but a quiet enough, flat place in the Preserve to spend the night with a view of the Worlds Tallest Thermometer in Baker. All for Free!
Report Check-InIt was already dark when we arrived so we had troubles finding the exact spot but there are a few possible places next to the road. We were the only ones!
Report Check-InNice flat spot in the Mojave National Preserve. Look for stop sign on dirt road off Kelbaker Road.
