Just like to add, we used our leveling jack to raise the front of our motorhome so that we could dig under the front wheel and insert the smaller stones that’s laying around. We then sliced bigger stones under the leveling jack and raised the front even higher until the front wheels were fully off the ground. The. We add more stones under the wheels. Then we did the same to the back wheel to create more grips. Then reverse out of it. Lucky we didn’t have to call the toll truck!

Report Check-In

We got stuck! The east side of the camp site is very dangerous for large motorhome. Our 31’ class A front got solid stuck (even the front axle stuck in the mud!) thankfully as temperatures dropped going into the night the ground hardened. We dug ourselves out after shoveling 5 hours from 5pm to around 10pm. Lucky we had shovel and exterior lights. Definitely be careful next time.

Report Check-In

Large clearing, but I barely made it in over a few inches of melting snow with my 2wd Promaster. Gorgeous. Secluded. Starlink and T-Mobile both served me well here!

Report Check-In

Nice spot for a 40 foot RV, it fit in this area on dry weather ONLY.
Don’t get scared by the size of the (dirt) road when driving into the location. First 1/4 mile looks small and not safe (for our 23,000 pound RV), but after that it’s fine.
Don’t arrive late if you have a big RV.
First arrived, first served !

Stayed here for 2 nights, great and quiet spot, next to the park, big sites, lots of room and good phone reception

Report Check-In

Nice spot to sleep. Might need a 4x4 if it rained but for us it was fine. Quiet spots really close to GC and easy to find. Many spots available.

Report Check-In

Exactly like described above. We arrived late and left early. Loved that it was right in the forrest, but still close to the entrance.

Report Check-In

Very nice spot for a couple days. Close to entrance of national park. Plenty of flat spots along this road and it has great Verizon service. The road is slightly bumpy with a small incline but any vehicle should make it.

Report Check-In

Amazing spot near Grand Canyon! Free, peaceful, plenty off space. On the road there is a lot of spot you can choose from, a lot of them have a fire rig.
We were there for two nights, made a fire both of the nights it was amazing. The sky is great to see at night!
There was some people around with us. Some with tents some with van and some trailers.
The road is in flat and gravely but not much to worry about.
This place is free and amazing please be mindful, pack it in, pack it out!
Enjoy 😄

The road has plenty of pull-offs where you can spend the night. The further down you go, the less crowded it will be - and the road is decent, so pretty much any vehicle should be able to make the trip.

We went a good ways down on our first night, but spent the next two nights at this pull-off (the first). Lots of campers, but very quiet. However, we saw no wild horses or any other wild life for that matter.

While there's lots of trees, we managed to find spots, where our Starlink had clear views of the sky. However I was constantly moving the solar cells around to get them out of the shadows, as the sun moved during the day.

Report Check-In

Surprised to see such great camping close to the entrance. A lot of ruts from the wet weather but very dry now. Lots of firewood around.

Report Check-In

I’ve been here for two nights, and it has been absolutely peaceful, pleasant, quiet, and everything I truly needed.
Most of the campsites in Flagstaff are still closed due to weather conditions. So I found this spot, and I could not be any happier.

Many other campers, but with ample distance. Locals and tour guides, drive through most of the day, but not disturbing whatsoever.

It could get very sticky and muddy when rains, so please be aware of weather conditions before coming here .

4 bar 5G T-Mobile service- cell reception has been incredible!

Wild horses are everywhere! The most beautiful blessing one could ask for.

Very minimal trash. Please take your garbage with you! This earth is absolutely stunning, and we do not need to destroy it anymore than we already have!

Safe travels!

Stayed two nights. Pretty quiet this time of year. Some “locals” seem to drive back and forth a bit. Only a few other campers in 1/4 mile of me. Would have liked a sunnier spot this time of year. Most have a lot of shade.

Report Check-In

We stayed along this road for two nights. Tons and tons of people, but there’s space. About as close to the entrance of the national park as you can get.

Report Check-In

excelente lugar hay que manejar unos 10 minutos y listo, había varios RV en el lugar. mucho frío y bastante tranquilo.

Report Check-In

Please, remember these are first come spots, if a spot is occupied move onto the next one. Don't move into another camper space, it's bad camping etiquette. Even those the sites may be large, it doesn't mean the other campers want to share a space with you.

Nous y avons passé deux nuits très agréables avec le chant des elk ou mule deer en rut. Une bonne partie de la journée d’hier c’est très calme, très agréable.

Report Check-In

Stayed there two days, it was very quite, full space, very close to the gate and as everyone says it’s legal to camp here 😍

This was a great pull off for a night's sleep between days at the canyon. 15 minutes to the visitor center. quite a few neighbors but everyone was quiet. Ravens and small birds were very entertaining while drinking coffee in the morning.

Report Check-In

Many good places to stay. Showers at Mather NP Campground.

Report Check-In

Great site with easy access. Left a pair of hiking boots on accident tho.

Report Check-In

Spacious sites with multiple areas & many fire rings. As noted above, this spot is so close to the park gates so you can get up early, enter the park before everyone else driving in from the south. We parked here around 4:00 and had the place to ourselves. Once the sun went down others arrived and by morning there were five or six campers here. Bring your own wood as there’s not much around here. Great spot!! Quiet.

Report Check-In

great quiet spot with room to fit multiple vehicles/group, passed a big skoolie and sprinter parked right before these coordinates
strong Verizon/Visible data, AT&T okay

Report Check-In

Awesome spot to camp, about a mile from grand canyon south entrance. If you stay directly on this road a lot of “safari tours” drive. If you stay further off the road you cant see them. Lots of horses walked through campsite each day. Loved that! Quiet area. Amazing night sky!

Report Check-In

we spend a few nights here. quiet beautiful place, others campers there as well.

Report Check-In

Slept here the other night. Nice place to pull of and make it to the sunrise the next morning

Report Check-In

We were so worried because we couldnt find a First come first served in mather campground inside de grand canyon NP, so the girl from the campground recommend us to go to the 328 road and park somewhere after the first Half mile, so found this spot, and its amazing! Its Just 10 minit from the viewpoint and less than 5 minit from the entrance. There were a lot of van yesterday but still súper prívate because the spot are not so close. We slept like babies and some coyotes were Pretty close because we Could Heard them 😍

Report Check-In

New spot in the forest tonight...near power lines and horseback trail. Quieter than other spot.

Report Check-In

Big spaces under a few trees. Very quiet. Some traffic on the road. Horse people have been here, as they left their refuse behind; oh well, it's biodegradable. Close to Grand Canyon NP gate. Verizon with 15/15 Mbps up/down speed.

Was really happy here. Quiet, dust free, really close to the South Gate

Report Check-In

Great place. Just outside park entrance. Many roads throughout and existing sites to choose from. Quiet, private, wooded, fire rings. Very limited att cell service. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

Many sites with fire rings out here! So beautiful and 4 bars Verizon LTE for getting work done! Loved this site, wish I could have stayed longer

Report Check-In

Super cool campsite , fire pits, easy in , few people around but site empty. Stayed here two nights. Lots of wildlife : rabbits, birds , wolves. Super close to park

Report Check-In

Super convenient spot in the forest right outside Grand Canyon NP. Road in is well maintained and I imagine you could get any size rig back here. No amenities, but free! Good cell service on ATT.

Report Check-In

Fantastic spot, we are 38 feet long and did great. Lots of fire pits

Report Check-In

Pulled in at dusk. Very little traffic. First spot on road past ranch. Another camper across the road and more down the road. Quiet and dark. Nice big turnaround. Plenty of room for several large rigs.

Report Check-In

Open area with a few other vehicles. Easy to get to from the main road and a very short distance to the Grand Canyon entrance.

Report Check-In

Excellent place with lots of spots. You pass lots of don't camp here signs but once you pass by and get to where the coordinates take you it seems like your allowed to camp. There's a few other people here and it's really close to the park entrance.

Report Check-In

Perfect place near Grand Canyon. Can be muddy when wet. Please pack out your trash, even your toilet paper.
